ECHO-NOVA (the Emergency Counselling and Mental Health Organisation \u2013 New Beginnings) is a non-profit organisation established in 2018. The organisation has the vision of creating a healthier Emergency Medical Service (EMS) in South Africa, by improving the psycho-social wellness of EMS personnel. Our objectives cover the four focus areas of knowledge, awareness, resilience and support. The core values of the organisation are honesty, trust, compassion and commitment to serve the EMS (for more information see\u00a0htp:\/\/echo-nova.co.za\/ ).<\/a><\/p>\n Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong>PART-TIME PROPOSAL WRITER AND FUNDRAISER<\/strong><\/p>\n Purpose:<\/p>\n Up to date ECHO-NOVA has been operating on very limited funding, and has relied to a significant extent on pro bono work of professionals, assistance from volunteers and in-kind contributions. Awareness raising and services provided up to date has resulted in increased demand for services and assistance, which can only be met if sufficient funding is sourced. ECHO-NOVA requires the services of an experienced fundraiser to source funding to implement its planned activities in all four focus areas.<\/p>\n Responsibilities:<\/p>\n Requirements:<\/p>\n This position requires a pro-active fund-raising professional. Specific requirements are:<\/p>\n Previously disadvantaged South Africans are encouraged to apply. Applications should consist of:<\/p>\n Working arrangements<\/p>\n This is a part-time, work from home position. The number of hours required per month is negotiable.<\/p>\n Remuneration<\/p>\n This is a volunteer position. Depending on performance, the Board may, after a period of 3 months, consider an incentive scheme in the form of a percentage of funding sourced, provided that such an arrangement is accepted by individual funders\/donors.<\/p>\n Contract duration<\/p>\n A commitment of at least 3 months is required.<\/p>\n Please note<\/p>\n\n
