{"id":44420,"date":"2019-01-24T09:45:58","date_gmt":"2019-01-24T07:45:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=44420"},"modified":"2019-01-23T15:21:49","modified_gmt":"2019-01-23T13:21:49","slug":"habitat-for-humanity-south-africa-new-ongoing-recruitment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/habitat-for-humanity-south-africa-new-ongoing-recruitment.html","title":{"rendered":"Habitat for Humanity South Africa New Ongoing Recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Habitat for Humanity South Africa is non- profit organisation breaking the cycle of poverty through participatory development, advocacy and awareness.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Resources Development Coordinators [X 2]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Musgrave office Towers at KwaZulu Natal<\/li>\n<li>Pine Park building at Pinelands: Western Cape<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The two positions are fixed-term contracts for 18 months<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remuneration:<\/strong> Basic salary will be R18,000.00 per month<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose:\u00a0<\/strong> To raise funds through build events to increase HFHSA income and diversify its income streams<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fundraising:<\/li>\n<li>To participate actively in the development and implementation of a comprehensive and integrated fundraising strategy for HFHSA<\/li>\n<li>Bring income into HFHSA according to set targets from build event sales<\/li>\n<li>To sell our Build Events to corporates and other stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>To develop and maintain strong relationships with old and new corporate partners and other stakeholders<\/li>\n<li>To contribute to the development of funding proposals and ensure that they are submitted<\/li>\n<li>Individual fundraising objectives and targets are developed and achieved, based on the fundraising strategy and budget requirements for the financial year<\/li>\n<li>Assist during Build or any organisational Events<\/li>\n<li>Do presentations and meetings with donors<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate record of donor pipeline<\/li>\n<li>Produce post build event reports to donors<\/li>\n<li>Do donor research with the aim to build up relationship and sell build events<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and develop Habitat\u2019s relationship by creating greater awareness and support amongst our current and future volunteer base by visiting and presenting in Schools, Universities, Colleges, Cooperates and Churches<\/li>\n<li>Develop home owner profiles and submit to the Marketing Manager<\/li>\n<li>Prepare invoice and issue MOU to donors, as and when required<\/li>\n<li>To write reports in order comply with donor reporting requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a03-5 years \u2018experience in fundraising activities with a proven track record of raising funds<\/li>\n<li>Experience in providing accurate monthly reports<\/li>\n<li>Undergraduate diploma or qualification in relevant field or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Training in fundraising would be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to affirm the Christian principles and core values of HFHI<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build and maintain strong partnerships<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated competencies in: &#8211;<\/li>\n<li>Sales and fundraising<\/li>\n<li>Proposal and appeal writing<\/li>\n<li>Report writing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply:\u00a0<\/strong>Should you meet the above criteria, send us an email with the following information:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In the body of your email, please include a covering letter describing why you think you have everything we\u2019re looking for and why you want this opportunity.<\/li>\n<li>Attached your CV with three contactable references<\/li>\n<li>Please state clearly which Province you are applying for on your application<\/li>\n<li>Send your application to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@habitat.org.za\">recruitment@habitat.org.za<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Closing date:<\/strong> 31 January 2019<\/p>\n<p><strong>PLEASE NOTE:\u00a0<\/strong>Only those candidates selected for interviews will be contacted.
