Our goal for South Africa is a flourishing people, economy and society in which every person has the opportunity to fulfil their potential.<\/p>\n<p>Towards this goal, our strategic aims for 2017 \u2013 2021 are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To nurture an innovative and inclusive society<\/li>\n<li>To keep all children on track by Grade 4<\/li>\n<li>To enable all young people to get their first decent job.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Grants Administrator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Western Cape<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The main responsibility of the Grants Administrator is to ensure efficient and streamlined grants administration support<\/li>\n<li>You will be the first point of contact for applicants and grantees and will assist them with completing their online applications and reports<\/li>\n<li>You will manage the grant filing system and assist with the day to day administration of the DGMT as a whole<\/li>\n<li>Liaise and work with the finance team regarding financial assessments of applicants and payments of grants<\/li>\n<li>Prepare documents and reports for the Grants Manager<\/li>\n<li>Support the Grants Manager and Innovation team as and when required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail and to coordinate various activities simultaneously<\/li>\n<li>Excellent computer skills<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely<\/li>\n<li>Hard working, resourceful and eager to get the job done<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to learn additional job-related skills<\/li>\n<li>Team player and exceptional interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Previous work experience would be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please submit a cover letter and your CV (including references) with the subject &#8220;Application &#8211; Grants Administrator SN&#8221; to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:work@dgmt.co.za\">work@dgmt.co.za<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0by latest <strong>Thursday, 31 January 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The DG Murray Trust (DGMT) is a public innovator committed to developing South Africa\u2019s potential through strategic investment.
