The Trust aims to create opportunities for young people to be successful in the workforce, develop livelihood skills and further their education, through partnerships and collaborations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Programme\/Measurement and Evaluation officer\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Johannesburg<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design programmes that align with the organisation&#8217;s mission and support the organisation&#8217;s goals<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement monitoring and evaluation (M&amp;E) systems\/tools for sub grantees\/programmes<\/li>\n<li>Manage sub grantee relationships and oversee implementation of grants according to their contracts<\/li>\n<li>Establish strong working relationships with Senior Managers and sub grantees dealing with M&amp;E\/Information management and programme supported to facilitate effective collaboration and communication<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the improvement of YBT programmes,\u00a0Monitoring and Evaluation (M&amp; E)\u00a0activities, Data Quality with the sub grantees \u2013 by undertaking visits to sub grantees as needed to support and\/or mentor data collection\/collation or verify data quality or carry out spot checks\/views<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual programmatic performance reports, conduct basic data analysis and interpretation, as required for programme support and for reporting<\/li>\n<li>Participate in\/or coordinate the timely collection and analysis of all supported programme performance data, document best practices, trends and success stories<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen sub grantees capacity to analyse and use data for decision making<\/li>\n<li>Contribute and provide support to research studies planned by the project<\/li>\n<li>Participate in meetings and workshops related to YBT programme objectives and activities<\/li>\n<li>Provide inputs for the monthly and annual project performance reports<\/li>\n<li>Support the ED in establishing and developing partnerships.<\/li>\n<li>Support the ED in resource mobilisation.<\/li>\n<li>Develop new grant applications or proposals<\/li>\n<li>Perform other related duties as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree or above in Development Studies, Social Work, Management, Social Science discipline or related field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three to five years&#8217; experience as Programme and Monitoring and Evaluation (M&amp; E) Officer<\/li>\n<li>Five years or more in a donor or donor-funded environment<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation tools and systems<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working with youth-led programmes<\/li>\n<li>Networking skills.<\/li>\n<li>Communications skills, verbal and written<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and adapt with minimal effort<\/li>\n<li>Empathy<\/li>\n<li>Problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Clear decision-maker<\/li>\n<li>Ability to motivate and enthuse others<\/li>\n<li>Financial literacy<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and Evaluation (M&amp; E)\u00a0experience<\/li>\n<li>Capacity Building experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit a CV (maximum three pages) and letter of motivation to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:seth@youthbridgetrust.org\">seth@youthbridgetrust.org<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>15th Feb, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Youth Bridge Trust (YBT) is an innovative organisation, based in Johannesburg, established in July 2017.
