JET Education Services is seeking to recruit Honours\/Masters graduates to support the vision of delivering innovative research solutions in the education space\/sector.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: JetStreamer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:<\/strong> Johannesburg Office, with the option of being placed at other NGOs working in education.<\/p>\n<p>The Contract offered will be fixed term for 18 months.<\/p>\n<p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME A JETSTREAMER<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Honours\/Masters Degree in the following fields: Research, Monitoring &amp; Evaluation, Communications, Politics, Public Administration, Information Technology, Science and Engineering and Education and\/or equivalent (a combination is advantageous) &#8211; minimum qualification is NQF Level 8;<\/li>\n<li>No work experience necessary;<\/li>\n<li>Must have knowledge of the following; Microsoft Office, Internet and email computer skills;<\/li>\n<li>Technological thinking and tech savvy would be an advantage but not mandatory;<\/li>\n<li>The ability to work as a team player and individually;<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills;<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills both verbal and in writing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>THE CORE OUTCOMES:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understanding the education landscape in South Africa;<\/li>\n<li>Development of the ability to contextualise environments in order to develop thorough research applicable solutions;<\/li>\n<li>Development and application of best practice research skills;<\/li>\n<li>Development and application of data and knowledge management skills;<\/li>\n<li>Practice application of monitoring and evaluation principles and methods and how they relate to education practices;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the use of graphic presentation, including computerised graphics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Stipend R160 000.00 per annum CTC (cost to company)<\/p>\n<p>Applications must be submitted online through\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jet.org.za\/news\/jetstreaming-an-innovative-research-capacity-building-programme\">JETStreaming<\/a>\u00a0no later than <strong>19th February 2019, 17h00<\/strong>.
