{"id":44811,"date":"2019-02-20T10:30:02","date_gmt":"2019-02-20T08:30:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=44811"},"modified":"2019-02-19T11:29:16","modified_gmt":"2019-02-19T09:29:16","slug":"mould-empower-serve-mes-current-opening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/mould-empower-serve-mes-current-opening.html","title":{"rendered":"Mould Empower Serve (MES) Current Opening"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mould Empower Serve (MES) is a Christian organisation giving services to the community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Social Worker\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Soweto, Johannesburg<\/p>\n<p>This is a one year fixed term Contract<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Early intervention and prevention: Risk Assessment on all referred cases, planning and safeguarding the welfare of vulnerable children, removal of children at risk and placing them at alternative and most suitable environments<\/li>\n<li>Finalisation of Children\u2019s Court Hearings: Investigate\u00a0and make\u00a0recommendations to court on whether the child should be accommodated away from home, in foster care, or in child and youth care centres<\/li>\n<li>Intake: Assess\u00a0all new cases and enquiries and recommending further intervention or referring the clients to relevant service providers<\/li>\n<li>Provide counselling for immediate case resolution<\/li>\n<li>Family reunification services through counselling, mediation, and assessments of the families\u2019 systems\u2019 ability to cater for the needs of child in the system<\/li>\n<li>Assess and train prospective foster parents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor of Social Work Degree<\/li>\n<li>Proof of Registration with the SACSSP<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of two years\u2019 statutory social work experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with children in need of care protection<\/li>\n<li>Report writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong assessment and analytic skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate well in English<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of two African languages<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s licence and ability to drive<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, submit your CV to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:portia@mes.org.za\"><strong>portia@mes.org.za<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For more inquiries, contact 011 725 6531<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>22nd Feb, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mould Empower Serve (MES) is a Christian organisation giving services to the community.
