Our integrated poverty eradication strategy links poor households in rural areas to a basket of services of development services, enterprise opportunities; micro finance and training in order to build productive and sustainable family and community livelihoods.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> <strong>Branch Co-Ordinator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Business Unit:<\/strong> Microfinance<br \/>\n<strong>Report To:<\/strong> Siyakhula Programme<br \/>\n<strong>Executive Location:<\/strong> Dumbe, Ulundi. Nongoma, KZN<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To grow and support WDB Trust Siyakhula operations which includes disbursement, Growing number of clients, Repayment and Retention.<\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage WDB Trust\u2019s Siyakhula Branch by ensuring that the day to day operations run smoothly full staff compliment, resources are available to employees, budget and office management.<\/li>\n<li>Grow the branch client base by mean of disbursement of loans, ensuring repayment of loans as well as client retention.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all WDB Trust Siyakhula, Regulators and acts of parliament.<\/li>\n<li>Marketing: Conducting feasibility studies, organize mass meeting, strategic relationships in order to create new business and grow client base we have potential clients.<\/li>\n<li>Set priorities, meet deadlines and follow up on assignments with minimum direction.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Communicate effectively with co-workers, subordinates, superiors, the general public, representatives of public and private organizations and others sufficient to exchange or convey information.<\/li>\n<li>Perform quality control checks for the branches<\/li>\n<li>Sustain the right organizational culture and behaviors by demonstrating the vital behaviors every time.<\/li>\n<li>Provide administrative and coordinative support services to the office and Operations Manager<\/li>\n<li>Financial and budget management of the branch by means of planning, implementing and managing the budget of the branch as well as preparing and submitting weekly and monthly ageing report to head office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Matric Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Diploma\/ B Com Degree will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 -5 years\u2019 experience as a supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Microfinance, including managing a loan book is a prerequisite.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in rural development work which includes working in a not for profit organization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>National Credit Regulation; Microfinance sector; Leadership skills; Facilitation skills; Communication skills; \u00a0\u00a0Organising skills; Reporting writing; Relationship building skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge the geographical operational areas<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge the local community culture, languages and people<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply please send your Cv\u2019s to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:wdbhr@wdb.co.za\">wdbhr@wdb.co.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Closing date: <\/strong>01 March 2019<\/p>\n<p>If you do not receive a response within a month after the closing date, please consider your application to be unsuccessful<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WDB is a Public Benefit Organisation which mobilizes resources to promote its flagship women\u2019s development programmes.
