{"id":45090,"date":"2019-03-06T17:31:57","date_gmt":"2019-03-06T15:31:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=45090"},"modified":"2019-03-06T17:31:57","modified_gmt":"2019-03-06T15:31:57","slug":"columba-leadership-columba-org-za-latest-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/columba-leadership-columba-org-za-latest-vacancy.html","title":{"rendered":"Columba Leadership (columba.org.za) Latest Vacancy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Columba Leadership (columba.org.za) is an NGO that activates youth enterprise and employment by helping young people transcend their personal circumstances and offers meaningful social impact to all investors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: School Engagement Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location: Savoy Estate, Gauteng Province<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The School Engagement Officer is responsible for the school-based engagements of the programme.\u00a0 The candidate must be able to work as a thinking and support partner to the school stakeholders (principals, educators and learners) and will play a key role in monitoring of progress, evaluating results and reporting.\u00a0 The candidate needs to be a passionate, engaged, confident, assertive person with excellent interpersonal skills and a really solid work ethic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for conducting Area Research<\/li>\n<li>Conduct principal information sessions to engage principals<\/li>\n<li>Enable Youth Engagement in Partner Schools:\u00a0 Facilitate Principal engagement together with the Provincial Manager<\/li>\n<li>Conduct educator sessions to engage educators<\/li>\n<li>Conduct learner sessions to engage learners<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with Principals, Educators and Learners on an ongoing basis<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder engagement with the Department of Education, Investors, Government Representatives \u2013 at a high level<\/li>\n<li>Implement Monitoring and Evaluation Plan with support from Monitoring and Evaluation Team<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit reports to Provincial Manager<\/li>\n<li>Transcribe recorded interviews<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to provincial reports for investors \u2013 identifying and sharing positive stories and lessons learned<\/li>\n<li>Provide corporate engagement support during school visits<\/li>\n<li>Activate and mobilise School Clusters: Facilitation of cluster sessions<\/li>\n<li>Involvement in Youth Connexion events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Education, Experience and Competencies:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be in possession of a Bachelor of Psychology or a Bachelor of Education Degree or a related Degree<\/li>\n<li>Coaching\/Mentoring Qualification will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Must have 5 years experience working in schools at a Principal and Educator level<\/li>\n<li>Must be in possession of a valid Driver\u2019s Licence<\/li>\n<li>Must be proficient in MS Office.\u00a0 Competence in MS Projects advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Excellent report writing skills essential<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in written and verbal English<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills, have the ability to take initiative and be a team player as well as the ability to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Adaptabilitiy and ability to work in a fluid environment<\/li>\n<li>Planning skills<\/li>\n<li>Administratively strong<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested parties should consider their current strength in view of the requirements of this position and their willingness to commit to the above.\u00a0 If interested CV applications, together with a letter of motivation, should be submitted to<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:careers@columba.org.za\">careers@columba.org.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong> Friday, 15 March, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Columba Leadership (columba.org.za) is an NGO that activates youth enterprise and employment by helping young people transcend their personal circumstances and offers meaningful social impact to all investors.
