This way, one of the most highly qualified workforces in the country will become the leaders of our industry.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Exxaro offers an unique training opportunity to historically disadvantaged candidates who are interested in studying towards a tertiary qualification in engineering or geology and have recently passed, or are busy with, matric\/Grade 12 examinations.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Exxaro Bridging programme runs over one year and starts in January each year. On successful completion of the programme, candidates may be considered for an Exxaro bursary to study a degree course in geology, mining, metallurgy, mechanical, electrical (heavy-current), industrial or civil engineering, or a diploma course in mining or mine surveying, starting in the following year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Bridging programme is hosted in Pretoria, with accommodation, meals, and study fees covered by Exxaro.
