{"id":45190,"date":"2019-03-11T17:55:16","date_gmt":"2019-03-11T15:55:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=45190"},"modified":"2019-03-11T17:55:16","modified_gmt":"2019-03-11T15:55:16","slug":"the-lunchbox-fund-latest-job-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/the-lunchbox-fund-latest-job-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"The Lunchbox Fund Latest Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Lunchbox Fund is a nonprofit organisation that focuses on fostering education via nutrition by providing a daily meal for orphaned and at-risk school children in township and rural areas of South Africa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Evaluation and Monitoring Fieldworker<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location:<\/strong> Worcester, Western Cape.<\/p>\n<p>This is a renewable contract position with fieldwork visits to Early Childhood Development centres schools taking place in the morning.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluation potential Feeding Programme Sites (Schools, Learner After-School Programmes and Early Childhood Development Centres (ECDC))<\/li>\n<li>Monitor visits to oversee implementation and ongoing development of Nutrition programme<\/li>\n<li>Confidence in working on an Electronic Evaluation Tablet System (training will be given)<\/li>\n<li>Complete paperwork and documents associated with visits<\/li>\n<li>Develop relationships in area of responsibility among EDCD forums\/with local NGOs to develop network and uncover schools needing assistance<\/li>\n<li>30 plus current sites to be monitored four times per annum<\/li>\n<li>New sites to be evaluated for inclusion in programme<\/li>\n<li>Expense Reports to be completed via email returned to Head Office<\/li>\n<li>Work during to school terms<\/li>\n<li>Pay per site visited and supporting report returned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum two\u00a0years\u2019 experience in education \/ monitoring or public service programs<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills preparation of expense report, email, completion of on-line monitoring form<\/li>\n<li>Ability to take and upload simple photographic images<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in English, Afrikaans and IsiXhosa<\/li>\n<li>Confidence is working alone when onsite visits<\/li>\n<li>Must be prepared to take a Criminal Record Clearance Check<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter and ability to work from home<\/li>\n<li>Possession of or access to: \u00a0Wi-Fi,\u00a0computer, mobile phone and printer\/scanner<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work during school hours and some afterschool.<\/li>\n<li>Available during School Terms<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use own initiative<\/li>\n<li>Self-confident<\/li>\n<li>Ability to travel alone and to stay overnight when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to complete and return reports to Head Office<\/li>\n<li>Ability to take photographs and upload \/ share them with Head Office<\/li>\n<li>Capacity to work independently and to work well with a diverse team<\/li>\n<li>Must be\u00a0diligent and experienced\u00a0to undertake the initial site evaluation and ongoing monitoring of School Nutrition Programmes in the greater Langeberg area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Send a CV and a brief motivational letter to<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:sue@thelunchboxfund.org\">sue@thelunchboxfund.org<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Lunchbox Fund is a nonprofit organisation that focuses on fostering education via nutrition by providing a daily meal for orphaned and at-risk school children in township and rural areas&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1353,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[243,1],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 -
