In an environment that nurtures social, economic and political forces for community development, this is our entry-tier course that helps participants take their leadership skills to the next level.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Human Resources Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location:<\/strong> Cape Town.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This is a 9 months fixed term contract.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is providing Strategic and administrative Human Resources oversight and direction for the organisation. Further, develops policy and directs and coordinates\u00a0human resources\u00a0activities for example but not limited to, employment, compensation, labour relations, employee services etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Strategic<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design a HR strategy for effective implementation and presentation to the organisations senior team and ensure annual review of this strategy<\/li>\n<li>Report on gaps and integrating strategy for resolution with the rest of the management team<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that due recruitment processes are followed to employ quality candidates<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement staff induction process<\/li>\n<li>Owner of organisational HR Policies<\/li>\n<li>SA Legislative Labour Law Compliance<\/li>\n<li>Giving direction\u00a0to disciplinary\u00a0procedures<\/li>\n<li>As a Seta accredited service provider, awareness of the organisation\u2019s Quality Management system and informing the role that HR plays in this<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the organisation\u2019s policy committee bi-annually<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the organisation\u2019s wellness plan and methodology<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all Occupational health and safety matters are in place, nationally and maintaining safe office environments for staff<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the design of an organisational development plan that will assist with its improvement to adapt to its environment<\/li>\n<li>Design, manage and oversee performance development review process across the organisational training and development needs aligned to this<\/li>\n<li>Provide monthly \/ quarterly reports as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Administrative<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Employee Contract Management<\/li>\n<li>Ensure HR Information Systems (soft and hard copy) including personnel files and detailed histories<\/li>\n<li>Payroll management and administration<\/li>\n<li>Leave management including study, special, sick etc<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Planning processes are in place<\/li>\n<li>Design a request system for REMCO<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 10 years\u2019 experience at a similar level in an organisation with over 60 employees<\/li>\n<li>A completed HR qualification (Degree in HR Management, Industrial Psychology<\/li>\n<li>Registration as Psychometrist and\/or Industrial Psychologist with the HPCSA<\/li>\n<li>Coaching qualification advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Have good employer employee relations<\/li>\n<li>Employee development and performance management skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong HR administrative skills and design of administrative processes<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of computerised information systems used in human resources applications<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills, both verbal and written<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyse and assess training and development needs and develop training framework<\/li>\n<li>Recruitment and selection experience in the NPO Sector<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and understanding of national employment and labour laws, regulations, procedures, and standards<\/li>\n<li>Competent in using Microsoft Office packages such as (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in job profiling and salary benchmarking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a CV and motivation letter to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:hr@activateleadership.co.za\">hr@activateleadership.co.za<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>indicate in subject line:\u00a0\u201cApplication for HR Manager\u201d\u00a0post with a letter of motivation advising why you are the best candidate.
