Khulisa Streetscapes provides chronic homeless individuals\u00a0with concurrent substance misuse and or mental health problems a rehabilitation opportunity through a dedicated work programme\u00a0combined with psychosocial support.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Auxiliary Social Worker<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location:<\/strong> Cape Town<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Coaching and mentoring<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One-on-one sessions with clients assigned to your care, including making biopsychosocial assessments<\/li>\n<li>where necessary, drafting personal development plans and weekly coaching sessions<\/li>\n<li>Keeping and filing sessions notes<\/li>\n<li>Assisting beneficiaries in identifying and implementing personal developmental activities<\/li>\n<li>Facilitation of group sessions for beneficiaries, writing of group session notes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Subsidised employment supervision<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and develop a work team made up of beneficiaries in one of Streetsacpes social enterprises<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the team is working in alignment to the Streetscapes code of conduct<\/li>\n<li>Effectively manage poor performance<\/li>\n<li>Daily team planning meetings, clear delegation of team roles, efficient scheduling of work duties<\/li>\n<li>Participate in operational team meetings<\/li>\n<li>Weekly reporting on operational statistics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Auxiliary Social Worker qualification<\/li>\n<li>Administrative skills<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of community development<\/li>\n<li>Commitment for vulnerable\u00a0populations, strong\u00a0drive for results as well as teamwork,\u00a0unquestioned integrity and professionalism<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a CV\u2019s to<a href=\"http:\/\/jesse@khulisa.org.za\/\">\u00a0<strong>jesse<\/strong><\/a><strong><a href=\"mailto:info@thesafehouse.org.za\">@<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/jesse@khulisa.org.za\/\">khulisa.org.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a0 Wednesday, 20 March, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Khulisa Social Solutions is s a nonprofit organisation addressing the challenges faced by\u00a0communities in a holistic and comprehensive manner.
