Its aim is to empower communities to develop new generations of productive citizens.<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Tit<\/b><strong>le:\u00a0Marketing Coordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Johannesburg.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Report to:<\/strong> General Manager<\/p>\n<p>This is a fixed term contract.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain and promote Afrika Tikkun\u2019s reputation with the community through innovative communication campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Ensure recruitment of beneficiaries is at capacity and that beneficiaries\u2019 attendance is maintained using strategies uniquely appropriate to the target market<\/li>\n<li>Content development for Public Relations on Centre events, success stories and breaking news<\/li>\n<li>Assist Centre General Manager with Report Writing<\/li>\n<li>Media Liaison<\/li>\n<li>Administration<\/li>\n<li>Provide support and assistance to Fundraising and Marketing department<\/li>\n<li>Provide support to the General Manager on all delegated Marketing functions<\/li>\n<li>Develop, engage and maintain strong relationships\/partnerships with local media houses and schools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A diploma or degree in PR, Communications, or the Arts<\/li>\n<li>Two to three years\u2019 working experience in your field<\/li>\n<li>Drivers licence with your own vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Computer Literacy<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge in event management and fundraising (advantageous)<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal)<\/li>\n<li>Organisational skills, an ability to handle various tasks and provide support to the Marketing team<\/li>\n<li>Proposal and report writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to write, photograph, video record even at an amateur level<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well in a team showing patience, enthusiasm, intelligence, respect, and love for Afrika Tikkun, its beneficiaries and its community<\/li>\n<li>A self-starter and highly motivated to get things done on your own<\/li>\n<li>Ability to perform administrative tasks with attention to detail, timeliness and accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Ability to network and communicate with media and other stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit your CV to Ester Thage at<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:estert@afrikatikkun.org\">estert@afrikatikkun.org<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0or alternatively fax application details to\u00a0086\u00a0668 0542.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Wednesday, 3 April, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>is an international nonprofit organisation\u00a0that provides education, health and social services to children, youth and their families through centres of excellence in South African Townships.
