{"id":45719,"date":"2019-04-02T09:19:26","date_gmt":"2019-04-02T07:19:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=45719"},"modified":"2019-04-01T19:18:31","modified_gmt":"2019-04-01T17:18:31","slug":"columba-leadership-available-job-opportunity-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/columba-leadership-available-job-opportunity-2.html","title":{"rendered":"Columba Leadership Available Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Columba Leadership (columba.org.za) is an NGO that activates youth enterprise and employment by helping young people transcend their personal circumstances and offers meaningful social impact to all investors.<em><br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Job Title: Values Champion Co-Ordinator (Educator Empowerment Programme) \u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: medium;\">Johannesburg<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Values Champion Co-ordinator is responsible for the on-going development and co-ordination of Columba Leadership\u2019s Educator Empowerment Programme.\u00a0 This person is ideally well connected in the education arena and fully understands the education context in South Africa.\u00a0 He\/she should also be open to innovation in the education and youth development space.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Co-ordination of the educator empowerment schedule of engagements and facilitators<\/li>\n<li>Faciltates the weekend residential programme<\/li>\n<li>Programme design and refinement<\/li>\n<li>Research and monitoring and evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Reporting<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder engagement with schools and the Department of Education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u200b<br \/>\n<strong>Minimum Education, Experience and Competencies<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Education or Social Science qualification essential<\/li>\n<li>Must be familiar with educational policies<\/li>\n<li>Coaching\/Mentoring qualification and experience an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Preferably 3 \u2013 5 years of experience in education (teaching at HOD level, or consulting)<\/li>\n<li>Valid Driver\u2019s licence essential<\/li>\n<li>Must have programme design experience<\/li>\n<li>Must be proficient in MS Office.\u00a0 Competence in MS Projects advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Must be willing to travel extensively in South Africa<\/li>\n<li>Excellent report writing skills essential<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in written and verbal English<\/li>\n<li>Good interpersonal skills, have the ability to take initiative and be a team player<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Adaptabilitiy and ability to work in a fluid environment<\/li>\n<li>Assertiveness<\/li>\n<li>Planning skills<\/li>\n<li>Administratively strong<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To Apply <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send your CV, letter of motivation and complete the\u00a0AA bio summary form\u00a0in MS word format to:<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:data@actionappointments.co.za\">data@actionappointments.co.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:<\/strong>\u00a0 Friday 12th April\u00a0 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Columba Leadership (columba.org.za) is an NGO that activates youth enterprise and employment by helping young people transcend their personal circumstances and offers meaningful social impact to all investors.
