The Haven Night Shelter Organisation\u2019s method is to make temporary shelter, rehabilitation opportunities, social welfare services, family reunification services, physical care and support available to adult people living on the streets who are committed to reintegration.<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Title:\u00a0<\/b><strong>Hosts<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Western Cape:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bellville Night Shelter<\/li>\n<li>Wynberg Night Shelter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0R5 500.00 per month<br \/>\n<strong>Report to:<\/strong> Shelter Managers<\/p>\n<p>This is a permanent position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Intake of clients including their safety and care<\/li>\n<li>Supervise clients<\/li>\n<li>Administrative duties<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the cleanliness and housekeeping<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reside in the area or in surrounding areas<\/li>\n<li>Code B drivers licence<\/li>\n<li>Grade 10 Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work shifts and alternate weekends<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interact with clients from different cultures and religions, manage conflict situations<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work as a team player, be of sober habits and no criminal record<\/li>\n<li>Be in good health, experience in the NGO sector will be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit two pages CV, and motivational letter to the HR Manager\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:recruitment@haven.org.za\">recruitment@haven.org.za<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0note if all the relevant documentation (CV or motivational letter) is not attach to your application will not be considered.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Indicate in the subject line for which post you apply: Bellville or Wynberg Night Shelter<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Haven Night Shelter Organisation is a non-governmental organisation that works to help get the homeless to a home.
