{"id":46127,"date":"2019-04-16T17:55:32","date_gmt":"2019-04-16T15:55:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=46127"},"modified":"2019-04-16T17:55:41","modified_gmt":"2019-04-16T15:55:41","slug":"southsouthnorth-available-job-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/southsouthnorth-available-job-vacancy.html","title":{"rendered":"SouthSouthNorth  Available Job Vacancy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>SouthSouthNorth is a nonprofit organisation working on projects that promote&nbsp;sustainable development and address climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Title: Project Manager <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Job Location: <\/strong>Cape Town<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The purpose of the position will include at a minimum project management, contracts management, quality assurance; and collating of reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ProjectGesti\u00f3n 2 is a second phase 30-month-long project funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), to support improved capacity for the implementation of Peru\u2019s National Determined Contributions (NDCs). Specifically, this will be achieved through improved institutional arrangements, capacity development, adequate access to funds and information, and stakeholder empowerment. The South African local office working with Peruvian and international consultants will facilitate NDC implementation through the creation of enabling conditions and participatory processes, including capacity building and enhanced tools and coordination.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>The project falls under the overall leadership of the Peruvian Ministry of Environment (MINAN), specifically the Climate Change and Desertification Directorate. Gesti\u00f3n 2 is implemented by SSN in partnership with Lib\u00e9lula (Peru) and with technical support from sub-contractors.
