The ACC programme seeks to advance the management of Drug-Resistant HIV &amp;TB, strengthen mechanisms for early identification and management of failing HIV\/TB patients. Pulse is expanding its teams and is looking to fill the following positions:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior Clinical Associates \u2013 Advanced Clinical Care\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location: <\/strong>Eastern Cape \u00a0(East London Based)<\/p>\n<p>The senior clinical associate will provide clinical training, coaching and mentorship of clinicians in supported facilities and districts. S\/he will be responsible for ensuring effective coordination of activities with those of the DoH, District Support Partners, and other PEPFAR-funded activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Clinical Associate Degree<\/li>\n<li>Further training and experience in HIV Medicine or Equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Experience or exposure to manage DR TB and HIV DR<\/li>\n<li>Significant experience in the HIV\/AIDS &amp; TB Programs, health systems strengthening and capacity building<\/li>\n<li>High level of interpersonal, technical, and analytical skills, including an ability to interact effectively and collaboratively with public sector counterparts and other stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Title: <\/strong><strong>ACC Quality Nurse Mentors\/Trainers\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location: <\/strong>Gauteng (Midrand based)<\/p>\n<p>The Nurse Mentor will work closely with the high impact facilities to advance the implementation of the ACC programme interventions. He\/she will conduct file audits, coach and provide onsite training to clinical staff on the management and monitoring of HIVDR and DRTB. Working with the DoH he\/she will ensure high-quality technical programming through hands-on guidance and support grounded in the programme\u2019s strategic objectives and adhering to expected technical quality and implementation framework.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Nursing Degree\/PHC &amp; Relevant Clinical Nurse qualification and registered with South African Nursing Council<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in HIV &amp; TB patient management<\/li>\n<li>Experience in HIV\/AIDS &amp;TB, health systems including NIMART Training<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership and communication skills, including proven ability to lead a multi-disciplinary team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Title: <\/strong><strong>Senior Clinical Associates\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location: <\/strong>Gauteng (Midrand)<\/p>\n<p>The senior clinical associate will provide clinical training, coaching and mentorship of clinicians in supported facilities and districts. He\/she will play a technical advisory role to the clinical teams and reporting to the funders. In addition, he\/she will support the collation of current and historical data compiling comprehensive profiles of the HIV &amp; TB epidemic(s) and visualization using GIS.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Advanced degree in (MPH, PhD, or related degree in Public Health or Social Sciences, e.g. evaluation, demography, epidemiology, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills and training in quantitative methods<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of modern research and analysis methodologies, and<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency using one of the common statistical analysis software packages (Stata, SPSS, SAS) is required<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of M&amp;E issues and indicator development for system strengthening<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Familiarity with Tier.net, EDR Web and PEPFAR indicators is a requirement<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding writing and oral communications skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Database Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:<\/strong> Gauteng (Midrand)<\/p>\n<p>The Database Manager will integrate data from multiple sources and optimise to guide programme management.<br \/>\nHe\/she will work closely with the clinical and field teams to compile, analyse and archive generated data accordingly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A Degree in Business Administration\/Computer Engineering\/Software Development or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Must possess excellent multi-tasking abilities, maintaining a high-level, long-term focus while negotiating short term competing priorities<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Enterprise Data Quality, Data Standardization and Data Integration strategies and tactical implementations; including data warehousing, master data management, integration and EMPI strategies<\/li>\n<li>Experience in data architecture design (staging, ODS layers, warehouse\/mart configurations) and object-oriented programming, web architecture and development<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills, knowledge of modern research and analysis methodologies, and proficiency using one of the common statistical analysis software packages (Stata, SPSS, SAS) is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Relevant experience in the Healthcare IT environment<\/li>\n<li>Outstanding writing and verbal communications skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>**QUOTE REFERENCE NUMBER WHEN MAKING APPLICATION**<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please email CV with contactable references, copies of qualifications, and a motivational letter to:<strong> <a href=\"mailto:recruitment@pulsehealth.co.za\">recruitment@pulsehealth.co.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Friday, 10 May, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pulse Health\u00a0is implementing the Advanced Clinical Care programme (ACC) in Gauteng and Eastern Cape.
