Through a peer-to-peer approach, these \u2018Mentor Mothers\u2019 deliver a range of health services, advice, and support to women and their families.<\/p>\n<p>Started in Cape Town, South Africa in 2001 with an initial focus on preventing mother-to-child transmission of HIV, m2m has innovated and built on its\u00a0strengths and now provides\u00a0family-centred support for a range of related health and social issues spanning pregnancy, birth, childhood, and adolescence. It\u00a0also partners with governments and other NGOs on the adoption of its programme to spread the Mentor Mother Model and its benefits. m2m has a track record of scaling its services and proven impact.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017, m2m and its partners enrolled 2.3 million new clients. m2m\u00a0has virtually eliminated mother-to-child transmission of HIV among the enrolled clients it serves directly for the last four years, with an average transmission rate of just 1.6%, while 97% of children in its ECD programmes meet all of their development milestones at 12 months. To support the work of refreshing organisation wide internal communications and human resource functions<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Play an important role in refreshing organisation wide internal communications.<\/li>\n<li>Submit help desk tickets to update Global Address Book with contact information for new employees and recent leavers.<\/li>\n<li>Post adverts to company website, LinkedIn and other recruitment websites.<\/li>\n<li>Schedule \u2018phone interviews, in-house interviews, creating interview itineraries.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with onboarding new employees<\/li>\n<li>Streamline onboarding process; designing benefits brochures, forms, and other documents.<\/li>\n<li>Work with communications, HR, and Country Directors to develop an induction video.<\/li>\n<li>Distribute HR communications to the organisation.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the HR department is Brand compliant. This will include updating existing materials, and liaising with the design team to request support for new resources.<\/li>\n<li>Play a lead role on website update to ensure a stand alone careers page tool is successfully transferred and integrated into the new site.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Communications\/Journalism, Business\/Management, Marketing or Human Resources.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent skills in verbal and written English, with an ability to demonstrate a proficiency in grammar, proofreading and editing.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate and interact with employees at all levels.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).<\/li>\n<li>Experience of using a range of digital media, including social, video, and web.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fluency in English essential<\/li>\n<li>Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential matters in a professional and ethical manner<\/li>\n<li>Well-developed verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Planning and organising<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently<\/li>\n<li>Ability to take initiative<\/li>\n<li>A passion for the m2m vision and values<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>mothers2mothers is an equal opportunity employer.
