Through a combination of interventions, Girls and Boys Town\u00a0on average, assist between 16 000 to 20 000 beneficiaries a year. GBT core focus is to remove the obstacles and barriers that prevent children from finding their light and helping them to Shine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Fundraising Administration Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location: <\/strong>Durban<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and donor<\/li>\n<li>Oversee general office needs<\/li>\n<li>Take and type Minutes of meetings and maintain an effective filing system<\/li>\n<li>Assist with general administrative duties manage stock, stationery and new orders<\/li>\n<li>Direct calls and forward messages to the fundraising team<\/li>\n<li>Generate reports and file accordingly<\/li>\n<li>Assist all fundraisers with basic administration duties as and when required<\/li>\n<li>Petty cash management and liaising with Head Office regarding invoices and payments<\/li>\n<li>Book travel and accommodation arrangements.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare internet transfer requisitions<\/li>\n<li>Capture donations on the Ivory Donor Management System<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12\/Matric<\/li>\n<li>Computer Literate<\/li>\n<li>Basic Bookkeeping<\/li>\n<li>Secretarial Diploma Advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three years\u2019 secretarial \/ administration experience<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills &#8211; Proficient in Microsoft Office including (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Ability to type 40 to 60 words per minute<\/li>\n<li>Communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Administrative and organising skills &#8211; prepare reports, presentations and documents<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and understanding of basic accounting or bookkeeping<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multitask<\/li>\n<li>Bilingualism an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of video conferencing and other office equipment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit abridged two page to <strong><a href=\"mailto:se@gbtown.org.za\">se@gbtown.org.za<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Tuesday, 30 April, 2019<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Established in 1958, Girls and Boys Town (GBT) is a national nonprofit organisation that runs proven and successful programmes to strengthen vulnerable youth.
