The purpose of the agreement is to ensure commitment to the programme which require, amongst, full participation in the educational and workplace assignments and observance of policies and procedures of the municipality. The candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 35.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Internship Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The MFMIP is structured professional training and work experience with the goal of providing high quality training and practical exposure in all aspects of a municipal Budget and treasury Office which is governed by the Municipal Finance Manamgent Act, Act 56 of 2003 and tge underlying\u00a0<span class=\"skimlinks-unlinked\">reforms.The<\/span>\u00a0programme has a logical training sequence that builds on the skills and competencies acquired during the University\u00a0<span class=\"skimlinks-unlinked\">training.It<\/span>\u00a0ends with a qualification in Municipal Finance Management in line with the Municipal Regulations on Minimum competency levels Gazette 29967 of 15 June 2007.<\/p>\n<p>NB: All applications for the senior manager\u2019s vacancy must be on the official application form that is obtainable from the municipal website,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.tswaing.gov.za\/\">www.tswaing.gov.za<\/a>, together with their detailed Curriculum Vitae, certified copies of qualifications, certificates of service from previous employers, and any other relevant documentation to support the candidate\u2019s application. All candidates must disclose financial interest in ownership\/directorship of companies.Previous applicants for the re-adverts must re-apply.<\/p>\n<p>Shortlisted candidates will be subjected to suitable checks (security vetting) including qualifications, employment records, criminal records, company ownership\/directorship, reference checks and must be prepared to undergo a competency assessment.
