{"id":46433,"date":"2019-05-03T14:54:34","date_gmt":"2019-05-03T12:54:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=46433"},"modified":"2019-05-03T14:54:34","modified_gmt":"2019-05-03T12:54:34","slug":"the-starfish-greathearts-foundation-latest-job-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/the-starfish-greathearts-foundation-latest-job-vacancy.html","title":{"rendered":"The Starfish Greathearts Foundation Latest Job Vacancy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Starfish Greathearts Foundation strengthens the capacities of community-based organisations to deliver sustainable, best-practice services that measurably improve the outcomes of at-risk children and adolescents in South Africa.<br \/>\nStarfish seeks to appoint a<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> <strong>CEO\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location: <\/strong> Johannesburg<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0Dependent on skills and experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>Start date:<\/strong>\u00a01\u00a0July 2019<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide strategic direction- business development, planning and management of the organisation<\/li>\n<li>Generate revenue for sustainability- based on diverse sources of income (R15- 20 million turnover)<\/li>\n<li>Financial oversight- annual budgets, audit and reports<\/li>\n<li>Operations management- logistic and administrative, includes programme planning and implementation in line with donor deliverables<\/li>\n<li>Build strategic partnerships- include South African Government, international aid agencies, corporate, individual and civil service organisations<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder management<\/li>\n<li>Human resources management- team comprising programme, fundraising and finance departments- x15 people, Employment Equity and Skills Development requirements<\/li>\n<li>Governance and regulatory compliance<\/li>\n<li>Strategic communication- marketing and public relations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in a relevant discipline- community development, health, education, social work, early childhood development, psychology, business development<\/li>\n<li>At least five years\u2019 senior management experience<\/li>\n<li>Financial literacy<\/li>\n<li>Skills and knowledge in the following an advantage: health, education, child protection; organisational development; monitoring &amp; evaluation, HIV\/ AIDS, TB<\/li>\n<li>Experience in fundraising and the ability to demonstrate previous fundraising success<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal<\/li>\n<li>Excellent networking skills<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate (Microsoft Suite)<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a CV, motivation letter and current remuneration package to <a href=\"mailto:appointments@starfish.org.za\"><strong>appointments@starfish.org.za<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Sunday, 12 May, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Starfish Greathearts Foundation strengthens the capacities of community-based organisations to deliver sustainable, best-practice services that measurably improve the outcomes of at-risk children and adolescents in South Africa.
