The organisations vision is to create positive and lasting change in the lives of children, enabling them to make positive and definitive steps towards employment or further education.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Schools Manager <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location: <\/strong>Western Cape<\/p>\n<p><strong>Working hours:<\/strong> 40 hours per week<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong> Dependent on experience<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to manage the delivery of a new year round programme in four schools in the\u00a0CBD of Cape Town.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Commit to learning SOHK\u2019s unique training methodology by self-learning, attending SOHK workshops, sports training workshops, and any other development workshops put forward by Management<\/li>\n<li>Take responsibility for SOHK schools or partners and work with the partner or school administration to deliver effective SOHK methodology<\/li>\n<li>Administer and contribute towards the Communications strategy and Monitoring and Evaluations Plan<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development of the programme (curriculum, games, activities, worksheets)<\/li>\n<li>Support and mentor coaches to deliver an outstanding programme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelors\u2019 Degree or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>NGO programme management experience (with understanding of monitoring and evaluation)<\/li>\n<li>Involvement \/ leadership in outreach or extra-curricular projects<\/li>\n<li>Strong demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability and willingness to multi-task and maintain a high quality of work<\/li>\n<li>Interest in and ability to handle new and changing technologies<\/li>\n<li>Interest in mentoring and developing future leaders<\/li>\n<li>Own transport and valid drivers\u2019 license<\/li>\n<li>Be dedicated to our cause, passionate about sport for development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please Click link to<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSeyuLYfLwzyv3AUHG1xsO11iUqQxOKrQvo1WH0SbAdjwmUzmA\/viewform\">\u00a0fill in this application form.\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Friday, 17 May, 2019<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>School of Hard Knocks uses rugby to\u00a0teach life-skills to school children\u00a0most at risk of dis-engagement.
