It is a priority programme of PPT.\u00a0The IESP, which is co-funded by the Jobs Fund, eThekwini and the DSBD, is now in its second, up-scaled phase following a successful pilot phase<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong> R 500 000 per annum (total cost to company) plus a maximum annual performance bonus of R50 000<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration:<\/strong> A position of approximately two years commencing either June or July, with the potential for a further position subject to performance review and funding availability<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in managing similar developmental programmes, including managing funding and personnel against a project plan to achieve contractual outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Team management skills \u2013 ability to build and motivate a winning project team<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of MIEs and how to grow them effectively (typically within the environment of the informal economy) including via sectoral collaboration\/interventions<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work with diverse stakeholders (MIEs, eThekwini, DSBD, established business, NGOs etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated, self-managing and results-orientated<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the developmental environment, conditions and stakeholders in eThekwini Municipality<\/li>\n<li>Report writing skills and numeracy<\/li>\n<li>Budget management and cost control in Excel<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and strategic skills<\/li>\n<li>Communication and people skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong skills in planning, organising and team-work<\/li>\n<li>Ability to develop new opportunities, strategic relationships and secure funding<\/li>\n<li>A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. business, development economics etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Valid S.A. driver\u2019s licence and own car<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Strongly preferred:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Zulu-speaking<\/li>\n<li>Previous developmental experience in eThekwini and existing local networks<\/li>\n<li>Durban-based<\/li>\n<li>Ability to develop promotional materials including use of social media<\/li>\n<li>Experience with monitoring and evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Relevant post graduate qualification<\/li>\n<li>More than ten years\u2019 relevant work experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a cover letter, CV with contactable referees, and copies of educational qualifications to <strong><a href=\"mailto:info@pptrust.co.za\">info@pptrust.co.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Thursday, 16 May, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Project Preparation Trust of KwaZulu-Natal (PPT) is an independent public interest organisation that specialises in the preparation of projects for historically disadvantaged communities and special needs groups. &nbsp; Job Title:&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1353,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[182],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>PPT Latest Employmemt Opportunity - Apply Here!
