The Capacity Development and Support (CDS) project is a five-year project
\n(2014-2019) funded by USAID\/South Africa under the U.S. President\u2019s
\nEmergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). CDS contributes to the goal
\nof mitigating the impact of HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
\nand tuberculosis (TB) by providing capacity strengthening to civil society
\norganizations and the South African Government, increasing their effectiveness in achieving expanded and high-quality services.<\/p>\n

Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong>Contracts and Grants Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Pretoria<\/p>\n The Contracts and Grants Officer will be responsible for the drafting and administration of sub awards, consultant\u2019s contracts, letter of agreements and purchase orders. S\/he will provide assistance to the Contracts and Grants Manager (CGM) on sub award-making processes, including issuance of annual programme statements, request for applications, request for proposals, review of applications, negotiations with applicants, selection of sub awardees, and close out of completed grants. In addition, assist in ensuring efficient grants and contracts management and monitoring on compliance with USAID rules and regulations.<\/p>\n Key responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n Applied Knowledge & Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n Problem Solving and Impact:<\/strong><\/p>\n Supervision Given\/Received:<\/strong><\/p>\n Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n Bachelor\u2019s Degree on international equivalent in Business Administration or related field.<\/p>\n Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n Typical Physical Demands:<\/strong> Technology to be Used:<\/strong> Travel Requirements:<\/strong> The successful candidate will be based in the\u00a0FHI 360 Pretoria, Hatfield<\/strong>\u00a0office.<\/p>\n\n
