The Organisation also develop learner and teacher support materials (LTSM) to help enhance literacy levels of our children in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Job Title: <\/b><strong>Desktop Publishing Layout Artist<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location: <\/strong>Johannesburg<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration: <\/strong>This is a six months\u2019 contract<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use DTP software to produce page layouts for publication<\/li>\n<li>Produce a variety of creative content for a variety of platforms in keeping with the company\u2019s style<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with developers and other units<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant tertiary qualification<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of content creation for children\u2019s literature<\/li>\n<li>Time management skills and the ability to prioritise work<\/li>\n<li>Written and verbal communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task<\/li>\n<li>Ability to collaborate closely with project managers, content developers, and illustrators<\/li>\n<li>Work ethic, and ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Careful, thorough and pay attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Strong creative, conceptual and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Able to handle large volumes of work<\/li>\n<li>Ability to adhere to strict deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Fast and accurate<\/li>\n<li>Accountable and responsible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a CV with motivational letter to <strong><a href=\"mailto:precious@molteno.co.za\">precious@molteno.co.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Thursday, 30 May, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Molteno Institute for Language and Literacy is literacy NGO that trains, coach and mentor primary school teachers.
