The successful candidate will have very strong analytical skills. Previous experience in International Development required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Associate Researcher\/Evaluator<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>South Africa<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Minimum relevant Master\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<li>Postgraduate in Monitoring and Evaluation training highly desired or Knowledge and experience of conducting external evaluations<\/li>\n<li>2 to 3 years demonstrated and relevant experience in research and M&amp;E activities<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Education and \/ or Early Childhood Development sector highly desired<\/li>\n<li>Very strong analytical skills required \u2013 qualitative and quantitative\u00a0 analysis, interpretation and writing<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated knowledge of statistics, sampling, and research design is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with donor-related policies and procedures (USAID, DFID, UN) an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Excellent writing to meet different audience needs, presenting, and communication skills and attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with the full suite of MS Office applications essential<\/li>\n<li>Project management experience<\/li>\n<li>Pro-active self-starter, team player willing to take initiative and go the extra mile<\/li>\n<li>Fluency in French or Portuguese an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable with multi-tasking and working in a consultancy environment<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s license, and must be willing and able to travel local and internationally<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Main Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in programme evaluations, assessments, data quality audits, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Develop tools for data collection \u2013 e.g. baseline evaluation, other assessments\/protocols.<\/li>\n<li>Collect, capture and analyses of data including the preparation of reports, slides and presentations<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to quality data management.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with Project management: including administrative duties and logistical project support<\/li>\n<li>Assist with proposal writing and\/or proposal preparation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Send applications to:<strong> <a href=\"mailto:talent@khulisa.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">talent@khulisa.com<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nDetailed CV\u00a0<em>highlighting experience<\/em>\u00a0to be submitted with 3 contactable recent referees.<\/p>\n<p>Only shortlisted candidates eligible to work in South Africa will be contacted for an Assessment center<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Friday, 31 May, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Excellent full time opportunity for a\u00a0junior to mid-level professional with a passion for International Development, Research and M&amp;E\u00a0to join our technical team in our Johannesburg office.
