Maternal, Adolescent & Child Health (MatCH) is a division of the Wits Health Consortium under the School of Public Health of the University of the Witwatersrand. Through the Unfinished Business Project, MatCH implements the Strengthening of District Responses for Better HIV\/TB Outcomes in eThekwini District and Msunduze sub-district in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.<\/p>\n
The project focuses on providing technical assistance and direct service delivery to support efficient monitoring and evaluation of the Paediatric and Adolescent HIV Care and Treatment programme.<\/p>\n

\nTo support the management of MatCH\u2019s Monitoring and Evaluation activities. The incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of monitoring and evaluation including implementation plans, overseeing staff, data quality, drafting and updating M&E plans, reviewing data, reporting and operations research. This position will also provide logistics and planning support to the clinical teams. The incumbent will also liaise with internal and external stakeholders and support capacity building activities for data management and M&E for the DOH and MatCH staff with a focus on data utilization.<\/p>\n

\nRelevant Degree or diploma (preferably Master\u2019s level)
\nExcellent communication and supervisory skills
\nMER Framework development
\nAbility to handle a varied, busy and pressurized work load
\nDrivers licence<\/p>\n
\n4 years\u2019 experience in M&E\/Research
\nPrevious management, training and mentoring of staff<\/p>\n
\nData management & analysis software
