Our programme appeals to young people because it provides them with a platform to discuss and address HIV and AIDS, TB, life and livelihood skills, sexual reproductive health and rights, gender, good citizenship and human rights, and unemployment and career development issues.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location: <\/strong>Durban<\/p>\n<p>The Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing OVSA monitoring and evaluation activities when required as per an agreed-upon contractual basis<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assessment of OVSA monitoring and evaluation\u00a0plan and to identify gaps and or activities<\/li>\n<li>Further develop and implement qualitative monitoring and evaluation\u00a0project frameworks<\/li>\n<li>Modify and\/or design additional data management, collection and reporting systems, and monitor the progress thereof<\/li>\n<li>Modify and design our project database to capture all data required for monitoring and evaluation\u00a0purposes<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate training to capacitate OVSA staff to implement monitoring and evaluation\u00a0strategy and analyse project activities<\/li>\n<li>Manage monitoring and evaluation\u00a0function to ensure that project activities are implemented effectively and are fully aligned to meet indicators as per grant agreement<\/li>\n<li>Assistance with data collection, analysis and preparation of reports<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that key learnings throughout projects are recorded<\/li>\n<li>Present analytical progress and evaluation reports throughout reporting cycles<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all funder-reporting requirements<\/li>\n<li>Perform statistical analyses and write ad hoc reports for various projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation\/Research, Development Studies or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Minimum five\u00a0years of experience in the development, analysis and implementation of monitoring and evaluation\u00a0systems within the NGO or research sectors<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience in building staff monitoring and evaluation\u00a0capacity, including training and mentoring skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience in knowledge management &#8211; ability to document, analyse, and disseminate information<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the South African education system<\/li>\n<li>Organisational and technical writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel and to conduct spot checks as and when needed and possess valid driver\u2019s license and own vehicle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit your application to<strong> <a href=\"mailto:info@onevoice.org.za\">info@onevoice.org.za<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0with the subject line Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CV of Consultant and\u00a0certified copies of the relevant qualifications of the consultant<\/li>\n<li>A sample copy of a traceable report to verify writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Three References for work preferably no older than five years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Thursday, 13 June, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>OneVoice South Africa NPC (OVSA) is a vibrant and unique non-governmental organisation, which uses innovative and creative ways of actively engaging young people on critical health and lifestyle issues, including&#8230;..<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1353,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"om_disable_all_campaigns":false,"jetpack_post_was_ever_published":false,"_jetpack_newsletter_access":"","_jetpack_newsletter_tier_id":0,"footnotes":"","jetpack_publicize_message":"","jetpack_is_tweetstorm":false,"jetpack_publicize_feature_enabled":true,"jetpack_social_post_already_shared":true,"jetpack_social_options":{"image_generator_settings":{"template":"highway","enabled":false}}},"categories":[26],"tags":[],"jetpack_publicize_connections":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.5 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>OVSA Recent Employment Opportunity - Apply Here!
