{"id":46979,"date":"2019-05-30T09:40:02","date_gmt":"2019-05-30T07:40:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=46979"},"modified":"2019-05-28T17:09:05","modified_gmt":"2019-05-28T15:09:05","slug":"hospice-palliative-care-association-of-south-africa-hpca-job-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/hospice-palliative-care-association-of-south-africa-hpca-job-vacancy.html","title":{"rendered":"Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa (HPCA) Job Vacancy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa (HPCA) is a national organisation operating in all nine provinces in South Africa with 134 members and affiliated hospices countrywide.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Data Capturer\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong> King Cetshwayo, KwaZulu-Natal.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of position is to accurately and efficiently capture data required by the APACE project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Data Capturing<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare APACE source documents by compiling and sorting information according to specific instructions provided by the MERO<\/li>\n<li>Verify accuracy of data from designated APACE sources before entering it into the system Locate and correct any visible data errors by confirming its integrity with MERO<\/li>\n<li>Combine and rearrange data from APACE source documents and transcribe given information into electronic formats<\/li>\n<li>Check all completed work for accuracy and change any field that requires editing<\/li>\n<li>Provide data management assistance to APACE programmes<\/li>\n<li>Capture data at allocated APACE partner sites<\/li>\n<li>Exercise and maintain data management by following applicable policies and procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Administration<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify, label and organise electronic storage media and ensure that both security and confidentiality is maintained<\/li>\n<li>Ensure reports are done timeously, accurate and reliably<\/li>\n<li>Implement a data base backup system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Matric<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency at advanced level MS Excel and intermediary Microsoft Word<\/li>\n<li>Two to three years\u2019 data capturing experience<\/li>\n<li>Must have own reliable transportation<\/li>\n<li>Technical\/Professional knowledge, skills and expertise<\/li>\n<li>Communication Skills<\/li>\n<li>Customer Service Orientation<\/li>\n<li>Detail orientation<\/li>\n<li>Integrity<\/li>\n<li>Teamwork<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Assertiveness<\/li>\n<li>Compassion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a detailed CV, covering letter and names of three contactable references including email contact to<strong> <a href=\"mailto:hr@hpca.co.za\">hr@hpca.co.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Friday, 31 May, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa (HPCA) is a national organisation operating in all nine provinces in South Africa with 134 members and affiliated hospices countrywide.
