We work in the areas of Child Rights Governance, Child Protection, Education and Health &amp; Nutrition in the provinces of Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Gauteng, Free State and KwaZulu Natal.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking to build a database of experienced professionals that we can call on to provide part time support over the short term(\u00a0(6 months or less) across our programmes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Part-Time Project Experts<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Pretoria<\/p>\n<p><strong>We are looking for people in the following categories:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Project Manager expertise<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implementation planning;<\/li>\n<li>Supervision and management of project teams;<\/li>\n<li>Project performance monitoring;<\/li>\n<li>Project reviews, interpretation and use of project data;<\/li>\n<li>Development, monitoring and review of project budgets,<\/li>\n<li>Donor compliance management;<\/li>\n<li>Implementation and monitoring of project quality standards;<\/li>\n<li>Project quality management;<\/li>\n<li>Donor reporting;<\/li>\n<li>Managing internal reporting systems;<\/li>\n<li>Development, management and dissemination of project documentation;<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder relationship management, business development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) expertise:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>MEAL system design and planning;<\/li>\n<li>Data collection tool development and implementation;<\/li>\n<li>Development of logframes \/ result frameworks \/ theories of change;<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation design, implementation and reporting;<\/li>\n<li>Data quality management;<\/li>\n<li>Quantitative and qualitative data analysis;<\/li>\n<li>Data visualisation and use;<\/li>\n<li>Project reviews;<\/li>\n<li>Project quality standard assessments;<\/li>\n<li>Project knowledge management; reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Thematic Advisor expertise in either Child Protection, Education, Health &amp; Nutrition or Child Rights Governance:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Specific areas of expertise required in these themes are: in depth knowledge and understanding of the child rights situation in SA in the thematic area;<\/li>\n<li>Strategy development and monitoring of implementation;<\/li>\n<li>Project and programme design;<\/li>\n<li>Budget development and monitoring;<\/li>\n<li>Development and monitoring of quality standards;<\/li>\n<li>Donor reporting;<\/li>\n<li>Development and review of technical guidance and tools;<\/li>\n<li>Donor proposal writing; business development;<\/li>\n<li>Partnership development and management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Under-graduate and or higher degree preferably on social sciences, Community Development, Project Management, Research, Demography, Psychology;<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 7 years of experience in the relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Experience working within a National or International NGO<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals from diverse professional backgrounds<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have a background in any of these skills, please apply by sending your CV to the following address:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:stproject@savethechildren.org.za\">stprojects@savethechildren.org.za<\/a>.<\/strong> Clearly mark your application with the following title: Application: Short-term expertise database.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Sunday, 30 June, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Save the Children\u00a0is a child-focused child rights organisation.
