Quality improvement of projects is key to SCSA this then means this Manager must be skilled on quality improvement of development interventions and be able to implement accordingly.<\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY\/ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0To provide strategic direction &amp; oversight on H &amp; N interventions:\u00a0 Facilitate and ensure completion of:<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Conduct H&amp;N strategy development &amp; program design &amp; annual plan;<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring of strategy implementation:<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to the development Projects Results frameworks;<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to the development of the projects theory of Change (ToC);<\/li>\n<li>Review, input and finalize H &amp;N Project Baseline, Mid-line &amp; End line assessments conducted;<\/li>\n<li>Provides technical expertise to review project performance against the result framework &amp; ToC;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Budget management:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Contributes to the costing of H&amp;N strategy;<\/li>\n<li>Provides oversight on H&amp;N budget management in line with the strategy;<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u00a0Project quality improvement:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Develops H&amp;N quality benchmarks &amp; other indicators of improvement including related tools, pilots &amp; finalizes;<\/li>\n<li>Provides technical support to ensure H&amp;N interventions are of good quality (&amp; QBs are implemented);<\/li>\n<li>Develops and facilitates implementation of innovative interventions i.e development &amp; application of new Common Approaches; integration model\/framework; quality improvement model\/framework;<\/li>\n<li><strong>H &amp; N Project reporting:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Collate and compile H &amp;N theme internal and external reports (monthly, quarterly and annually); facilitates improvement of the quality of all H&amp;N reports;<\/li>\n<li>Lead the development of H&amp;N reporting templates including data tools and conduct the review of these tools.<\/li>\n<li>Programme knowledge management:<\/li>\n<li>Develops and compiles H&amp;N project repository of documents, training materials, Advocacy materials &amp; reports;<\/li>\n<li>Facilitates dissemination of H&amp;N content through good practice stories, case studies, abstracts &amp; papers written (nationally &amp; Internationally);<\/li>\n<li><strong>Business Development:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Development of H&amp;N concept notes;<\/li>\n<li>Development of H&amp;N funding proposals;<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholder Management and development:<\/li>\n<li>Establishes new and essential sustainable stakeholder relationships;<\/li>\n<li>Strengthens existing sustainable stakeholder relationships; all Nationally (50% organizational AND 50% project oriented);<\/li>\n<li>Development of MOU&#8217;s and review of existing MOUs;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NB: The employee will be required and expected to execute any lawful instruction given by the line manager or delegated person.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>BEHAVIOR AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES (Living the Values)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Accountability:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Holds self-accountable for making decisions, managing resources efficiently, achieving and role modelling Save the Children values<\/li>\n<li>Holds colleagues accountable to deliver on their responsibilities &#8212; giving them the freedom to deliver in the best way they see fit, providing the necessary development to improve performance and applying appropriate consequences when results are not achieved.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ambition:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Future oriented, thinks strategically and on a global scale<\/li>\n<li>Focused on achieving external impact for the campaign<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Collaboration:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clear ability to understand other people\u2019s perspective and address reasonable concerns and needs<\/li>\n<li>Builds and maintains effective relationships with colleagues, members and external partners<\/li>\n<li>Approachable, good listener, easy to talk to<\/li>\n<li>Values diversity, sees it as a source of competitive strength<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Creativity:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develops and encourages new and innovative solutions<\/li>\n<li>Willing to take disciplined risks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Integrity:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Honest, encourages openness and transparency; demonstrates highest levels of integrity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ubuntu:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We endeavour to treat everyone with respect, empathy and compassion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Passion:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We value passion, determination, perseverance and the sense of urgency.
