Render social work services ITO the children&#8217;s Act 2005 No 38 as amended. Opening and finalisation of Children&#8217;s Court Hearings, foster care supervision services and reunification services. Study, interpret, apply and give information on child protection legislation as required.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Early intervention and prevention: Risk Assessment on all referred cases, planning and safeguarding the welfare of vulnerable children, removal of children at risk and placing them at alternative and most suitable environments<\/li>\n<li>Finalise Children&#8217;s Court Hearings: Investigating and making recommendations to court on whether the child should be accommodated away from home, in foster care, or in child and youth care centres<\/li>\n<li>Intake: Assessing all new cases and enquiries and recommending further intervention or referring the clients to relevant service providers<\/li>\n<li>Provide counselling for immediate case resolution<\/li>\n<li>Family reunification services through counselling, mediation, and assessments of the families\u2019 systems&#8217; ability to cater for the needs of child in the system<\/li>\n<li>Assessing and training of prospective foster parents<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor of Social Work Degree<\/li>\n<li>Proof of Registration with the SACSSP<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of two years\u2019 statutory social work experience<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with children in need of care protection<\/li>\n<li>Report writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong assessment and analytic skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate well in English<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver&#8217;s licence and ability to drive<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit your CV to<strong> <a href=\"mailto:vacancies@mes.org.za\">vacancies@mes.org.za<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Thursday, 27 June, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mould Empower Serve (MES) is a Christian organisation giving services to the community. &nbsp;
