The Organisation dream is that people with disabilities are fully integrated into society and are seen as people first; people that have significant potential and value.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Social Auxiliary Worker <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location: <\/strong>Stellenbosch, Western Cape<br \/>\n<strong>Start date:<\/strong> As soon as possible<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remuneration: <\/strong>The salary will be in accordance with the subsidy received from the Western Cape Department of Social Development.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration: <\/strong>This is a full time, one-year contract position.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist social worker and peer supporters with case management<\/li>\n<li>Conduct basic individual home visits and interviews<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate group work sessions and forum meetings<\/li>\n<li>Assist social worker to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and programmes by monitoring and reporting on clients\u2019 progress<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified social auxiliary worker<\/li>\n<li>Registered with the SACSSP and payment to date<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of individual, group and community work<\/li>\n<li>Good written and verbal communication in English and Afrikaans<\/li>\n<li>Valid Driver\u2019s licence and own transport<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the disability field and\/or non-profit environment will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Experience in project and people management will be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to regularly travel to surrounding communities in the Cape Winelands<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a Motivational letter and CV addressed to Roeline Robyn <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/roeline@changeability.org.za\/\">roeline@changeability.org.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Thursday, 13 June, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ChangeAbilitys is a nonprofit organisation that aims to actively lead, facilitate and promote disability awareness and integration in all its aspects.
