Our integrated poverty eradication strategy links poor households in rural areas to a basket of services of development services, enterprise opportunities; micro finance and training in order to build productive and sustainable family and community livelihoods.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong><strong> Bookkeeper<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Illovo, HQ<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOB PURPOSE\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To ensure complete and accurate processing of accounting records<\/p>\n<p><strong>KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Process cash book entries for all companies within the group.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare bank reconciliations for all bank accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Process supplier invoices.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare supplier reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare loan book schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Process loan book disbursements, receipts, interest etc.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the preparation of the audit file.<\/li>\n<li>Provide required information during the audit.<\/li>\n<li>Update Fixed Asset Register with additions.<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile Fixed Asset Register to Trial Balance.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in annual physical count of fixed assets.<\/li>\n<li>Assist Finance with any requests of financial related information.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare management accounts.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in Budget preparation<\/li>\n<li>Prepare EMP201(PAYE returns)<\/li>\n<li>Submit EMP201 on Efilling<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparing the EMP501<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the amounts paid are in line with the VIP reports<\/li>\n<li>Prepare payroll recon for Senior Accountant approval<\/li>\n<li>Prepare payment schedule for 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0parties (Medical aid &amp; Pension fund)<\/li>\n<li>Prepare 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0party reconciliations (Medical aid)<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and process Payroll journals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Matric Certificate.<\/li>\n<li>National Diploma in Accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 2-3 years bookkeeping experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE,SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pastel Evolution.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge in the (MS Office) package.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work quickly and accurately.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to pay attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to meet set target dates.<\/li>\n<li>Respect for confidentiality.<\/li>\n<li>High standard of integrity, honesty and reliability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send your Cv\u2019s to <strong><a href=\"mailto:wdbhr@wdb.co.za\">wdbhr@wdb.co.za<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Tuesday, 11 June, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WDB\u00a0is a Public Benefit Organisation which mobilizes resources to promote its flagship women\u2019s development programmes.
