{"id":47332,"date":"2019-06-17T16:28:13","date_gmt":"2019-06-17T14:28:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=47332"},"modified":"2019-06-18T10:29:01","modified_gmt":"2019-06-18T08:29:01","slug":"irene-homes-recent-available-employment-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/irene-homes-recent-available-employment-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Irene Homes Recent Available Employment Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Irene Homes is a nonprofit organisation\u00a0working with mentally challenged women within a residential facility.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Senior Nursing Professional<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Title: <\/strong>Pretoria<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take responsibility for the functioning of the Health Care Department, including the delegation of care needs to Nursing Staff and Care workers<\/li>\n<li>Record keeping and keeping of statistics as required<\/li>\n<li>Compile health and other reports as and when required<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the daily Health Clinic and doctors\u2019 clinics are organised and functioning smoothly<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that policies and procedures for the ordering, storage, handling and administration of medication are followed<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the residents\u2019 diets are healthy and nutritional needs are attended to.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that safety precautions are adhered to<\/li>\n<li>Do regular health inspections of residential houses and the work centres<\/li>\n<li>Liaise closely and communicate with other departments, writing of letters, reports and motivations as requested<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that health and hygiene policies and procedures are adhered to<\/li>\n<li>Be an advocate for our intellectually disabled beneficiaries, ensuring that their rights are observed<\/li>\n<li>Attend meetings as required<\/li>\n<li>Prepare for and do in-service training and health care education<\/li>\n<li>Do health assessment of new applications for residential care.\u00a0Follow up reports<\/li>\n<li>Compile annual budget and management of the department\u2019s expenditure<\/li>\n<li>Do stock control and stock taking as indicated<\/li>\n<li>Do counselling were indicated with beneficiaries and\/or families<\/li>\n<li>Keep up to date with health information and information specifically relating to the care of a person with intellectual disabilities<\/li>\n<li>Deal with emergencies and ensure that emergency measures are in place and being adhered to<\/li>\n<li>Do standby duties as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registered with the SANC<\/li>\n<li>Have a valid code 08 driver\u2019s licence<\/li>\n<li>Good Health<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of\u00a0packing\/dispensing of\u00a0medication<\/li>\n<li>In a position and willing to be on standby\/on call<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate \u2013 Proficient in Microsoft Office Package<\/li>\n<li>Contactable references<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a CV to <strong><a href=\"mailto:info@irenehomes.co.za\">info@irenehomes.co.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Friday, 21 June, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Irene Homes is a nonprofit organisation\u00a0working with mentally challenged women within a residential facility. &nbsp;
