{"id":47800,"date":"2019-07-03T11:30:45","date_gmt":"2019-07-03T09:30:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=47800"},"modified":"2019-07-02T11:48:33","modified_gmt":"2019-07-02T09:48:33","slug":"south-african-national-council-on-alcoholism-and-drug-dependence-sanca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/south-african-national-council-on-alcoholism-and-drug-dependence-sanca.html","title":{"rendered":"South African National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (SANCA)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>South African National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (SANCA) is a non-governmental organisation whose major objectives are the prevention and treatment of Alcohol and Drug Dependence.<\/p>\n<p>The first of these objectives is mainly achieved through the provision of treatment services for chemically dependent people and their families (Chemical dependence is an umbrella term used to describe both alcoholism and drug dependence)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> <strong>Social Worker\u00a0 <\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location: <\/strong>Limpopo<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Screening and Assessment of Outpatients Clients<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Outpatient Treatment (individual and group therapy)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Consolidation of monthly stats and reports<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Render prevention services<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Marketing and Fundraising<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Family Therapy and Support Groups<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Render Aftercare Treatment services<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Manage satellite\/mobile office<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Training of Volunteers and Professionals on SANCA programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Bachelor of Social Work &amp; Current registration with the Council (SACSSP)<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Bi-lingual<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Experience in the field of Substance Use Disorder is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Valid Driver\u2019s License \u2013 Code 8 or 10<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Therapeutic and Presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Knowledge and experience of Excel, Outlook, Word and Internet<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Good verbal and written communication skills<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Must show initiative and be proactive<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Being able to multi-task is essential<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A &#8220;can do&#8221; attitude is key. People\u2019s person who is assertive and tenacious \u2013 a good team player.<br \/>\nSomeone who can think on their feet.
