The ACD Programme seeks to connect &amp; equip young leaders already active and committed to the public good, with a toolkit for social change.<\/p>\n<p>In an environment that nurtures social, economic and political forces for community development, this is our entry-tier course that helps participants take their leadership skills to the next level.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Provoke Youth Hubs Sector Coordinator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:<\/strong> Durban<br \/>\n<strong>Remuneration:<\/strong> R11000.00 to R14000.00 pending experience<\/p>\n<p>Purpose of the position is\u00a0to coordinate the implementation of Provoke\/Influence strategy for the calendar year in line with the organizational vision, mission and strategies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Liaise with stakeholders and partners<\/p>\n<p>Provoke sector coordinators<\/p>\n<p>Interact with Activators in the Network<\/p>\n<p>Monitoring &amp; Evaluation (M&amp;E) coordinator manager and relevant staff as required<\/p>\n<p>Coordinate and Implement Provoke\/Influence programs<\/p>\n<p>Set-up 60 Youth hubs across SA<\/p>\n<p>Resource Youth hubs with essentials such as ITC, equipment, Branding and skills<\/p>\n<p>Ensure activities are happening within Youth Hubs across SA with Hackathons and workshops<\/p>\n<p>Assist activators with implementing Hackathons within youth hubs<\/p>\n<p>Support activators by linking them to stakeholders to strengthen their hubs<\/p>\n<p>Develop and\/or maintain partnerships to support and build capacity and opportunities for Youth Hubs<\/p>\n<p>Contribute to ACTIVATE! Change Drivers ( training) programme as agreed and as required<\/p>\n<p>Delivery of Equipment to various stations across SA (Courier services)<\/p>\n<p>Support organizational events including admin and logistical needs as required<\/p>\n<p>Working closely with Provoke Manager to<\/p>\n<p>Support and strengthen Activator initiatives at A! Stations<\/p>\n<p>Must have a valid driver\u2019s license<\/p>\n<p>Set-up 60 youth hubs across SA<\/p>\n<p>Maximize the utilization of the available systems and face to face platforms to provide better value to Activators<\/p>\n<p>Connect, strengthen Activator network bonds to grow their capacity to engage more effectively and amplify their impact.<\/p>\n<p>Support the CIPI and Comm\u2019s team<\/p>\n<p>Plan and set a calendar of activities for the year<\/p>\n<p>Monitor and support A! Help Desk with sector-related queries<\/p>\n<p>Monitor and support and implement Event coordinator strategy and events<\/p>\n<p>Monitor and support implement CIPI projects<\/p>\n<p>Maintain weekly meetings with relevant staff.<\/p>\n<p>Operate within budget parameters<\/p>\n<p>Holding the Active citizenry sector (X1 Imbizo on Arts and Culture)<\/p>\n<p>Apply strategies to strengthened bonds and connection within the Activate network<\/p>\n<p>Promote and monitor Activator attendance at Activator Org and Activator network events<\/p>\n<p>Liaise with Comms. portfolio to promote and\/or profile Activators\u2019 initiatives with a particular emphasis on shared actions e.g. in the 5 sectors<\/p>\n<p>Profile Activators shared initiatives through NWC social media platforms including<em>WhatsApp<\/em>, NWC\u00a0<em>Facebook\u00a0<\/em>pages etc.<\/p>\n<p>Provide infographics of events<\/p>\n<p>Promote access to and utilization of IT platforms (ACTIVATE!\u00a0<em>App, USSD &amp; WEB<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Features including\u00a0<em>Geomap, Calendar and Connection Hives\u00a0<\/em>etc.)<\/p>\n<p>Update info on SALES FORE<\/p>\n<p>Contribute to connecting Activators through printed media especially newspapers,<\/p>\n<p>Adhere to budget and financial administration and approvals systems<\/p>\n<div>Submit portfolio budget claims timeously and in alignment with budget submission requirements.<\/div>\n<div>Comply with financial policies and adhere to Pay card policy<\/div>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Monitoring &amp; evaluation and ensure quality control measures are adhered to<\/p>\n<p>Work with the M&amp;E Coordinator to ensure that relevant monitoring is done for all aspects of the Nodal Coordination team<\/p>\n<p>Systems &amp; Data management<\/p>\n<p>Contribute to the updating of Activator information on tracking systems as required<\/p>\n<p>Maintain and upload attendance records at Activator events on Salesforce<\/p>\n<p>Liaise with Salesforce team to create a salesforce tracking system for the 60 stations across SA<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Collate reports on Activator activities within Youth Hubs<\/p>\n<p>Produce Monthly infographics on the usage of Youth Hubs across the 60 Youth Hubs<\/p>\n<p>Submit info to assist with the formulation quarterly Boards and DGMT reports<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a CV and motivation letter with the subject line: Events coordinator Inland\/Cape Town to:<strong>\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr@activateleadership.co.za\">hr@activateleadership.co.za<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Siyashesha Leadership Incubator is a non-profit organisation and the managing entity of the Activate Change Drivers (ACD).
