{"id":47819,"date":"2019-07-04T12:00:36","date_gmt":"2019-07-04T10:00:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=47819"},"modified":"2019-07-03T12:49:28","modified_gmt":"2019-07-03T10:49:28","slug":"thembalitsha-foundation-recent-job-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/thembalitsha-foundation-recent-job-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Thembalitsha Foundation Recent Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thembalitsha Foundation assists with the development and growth in the lives of those in need, giving them hope.<\/p>\n<p>Thembalitsha Foundation seeks to appoint a mature and experienced registered nurse with palliative experience to be based at Themba Care Grabouw in Western Cape.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Registered Nurse<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Western Cape<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reporting to<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong> Project Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring the Comprehensive &amp; Palliative Care services of patients (men, women, children &amp; OVC\u2019s) in the community of patients are met.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct patient assessments, provide Health education &amp; raise awareness<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring of client adherence to medication e.g. TB and ARV treatment<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring &amp; assessing of HIV children and their adherence<\/li>\n<li>Training of skills to Home Based Care Workers &amp; identifying critical gaps where training is needed.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing, monitoring, mentoring and coaching of RHC of infants, identifying clients\u2019 health issues, nutritional and poverty alleviation, support &amp; referral.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing &amp; monitoring HIV &amp; TB health education programmes in community.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing &amp; Verifying the quality of HBC patient reports &amp; files e.g: Care plans etc\u2026<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring of HBC Patient Statistics<\/li>\n<li>Ensure availability and proper utilization of equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Prioritizing of patients according to care needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 10 year experience as a registered nurse<\/li>\n<li>Proof of palliative experience<\/li>\n<li>Drivers license<\/li>\n<li>At least 2 years management skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Critical problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply, <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit CV, qualifications and contactable references or queries with salary expectations to<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr@hope.org.za\">hr@hope.org.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Wednesday, 31 July, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thembalitsha Foundation assists with the development and growth in the lives of those in need, giving them hope.
