development, advocacy and awareness.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Finance &amp; Administration Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location: <\/strong>Pinelands, Western Cape<br \/>\n<strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0Market-related remuneration<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to provide leadership and guidance to the Financial Management and Administration Department and ensuring that financial resources that come into the organisation are recorded, tracked, and accounted for used in fulfilment of the core mission of the organisation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide company-wide strategic input, insight and leadership<\/li>\n<li>Assist the CEO and executive management team on corporate governance, regulatory compliance issues and strategy<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration as it relates to finance matters<\/li>\n<li>Board relationship Management<\/li>\n<li>Provide on-going advice on financial issues to the Board including accounting, reporting cash-flow, systems policies<\/li>\n<li>Identify Board financial efficacy and address training needs by conducting such training or finding alternative resources<\/li>\n<li>Proactively engage in discussions with the Board to sustain management proposal; propose decisions in line with strategy and risk appetite of the Board<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that preparation for board meetings is done well in advance and the board receives materials well in advance of the meeting<\/li>\n<li>Provide relevant data to support the business decisions and share business challenges and success<\/li>\n<li>Financial Management<\/li>\n<li>Produce and analyse timely and accurate financial statements<\/li>\n<li>Produce monthly management accounts and monitoring for performance and efficiency<\/li>\n<li>Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS for SME\u2019s and liaise with auditors and finance committee<\/li>\n<li>Annual planning and budgeting<\/li>\n<li>Maintain the financial system and ensure timeous monthly reporting to line management<\/li>\n<li>Budget, forecast as well as financial monitoring and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the HFHSA is well resourced by monitoring organisational cash flow and submitting timely international Transfer requests to HFHI AO as needed and appropriate<\/li>\n<li>Tax, compliance management and administration<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the organisation at all times remains compliant to all relevant laws and regulations by constantly monitoring the legal and regulatory environment<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that statutory deductions are remitted to government in a timely and consistent manner<\/li>\n<li>Review the accuracy and completeness of payroll data<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Organisational Risk and Governance<\/li>\n<li>Manage the operating environment to minimize risk for potential loss of organisational resources<\/li>\n<li>Advise the Board of directors and management on corrective measures needed and success of previous actions taken<\/li>\n<li>Support all internal and external audits ensuring the timely implementation of all audit recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Grant Management Compliance and Donor Reporting<\/li>\n<li>Prepare budgets for all concepts papers and fundraising proposals in cooperation with the Resource Development and Program departments<\/li>\n<li>Track expenditure of all grants and prepare timely financial reports for Resource Development and Program departments, as well as for donors, in agreed donor format<\/li>\n<li>Manage the procurement function and processes<\/li>\n<li>Have managerial oversight over the procurement processes in ensuring that all procurements for the organisation meet the standard of prudence, cost, accountability and fairness<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to Habitat For Humanity SA finance policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Operational Management<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight on day to day operations<\/li>\n<li>Professionalising the processes, systems, administration and general operations of the organisation<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a strong internal control environment<\/li>\n<li>Control and manage the assets of the organisation<\/li>\n<li>Management of Finance Team<\/li>\n<li>Manage staff development plans and other human resources matters for finance and administration department and play key role in building the financial management skills of the team<\/li>\n<li>Manage finance staff and facilitate interdepartmental collaborations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A graduate degree in financial accounting or finance related field<\/li>\n<li>At least 10 years\u2019 experience in accounting or financial management, in business or Non-profit organisation which at least 5 years should be at a senior management level such Finance Manager\/ Director<\/li>\n<li>Must be registered professional member of one the following accounting body; SAIPA, SAIBA, SAICA with a recent letter of good standing<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in MS Office Applications and experience with several different accounting packages required<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of finance-related legislation such as the VAT Act, Income Tax Act, BEE and FRS<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate a proficient level of professional skill and knowledge in accounting<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and ability to use applicable information technology and accounting systems to meet work requirements<\/li>\n<li>Detailed oriented and ability to work and interpret numbers, figures and other financial information for problem-solving<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills and organisational skills<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to uphold and promote Habitat\u2019s Christian Value<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to go through vetting process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To
