The Organisation&#8217;s mission is to promote, protect and enhance the safety, well-being and healthy development of children.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Social Worker Area Manager<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Job Location: <\/strong>Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the position is to provide services\u00a0listed as Responsibilities to seven\u00a0member organisations in the outlying rural and semi-rural areas of Ladysmith.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Organisational development in order to ensure good governance and accountability<\/li>\n<li>Provide guidance, support and mentorship to member organisations<\/li>\n<li>Development organisation and training<\/li>\n<li>Capacity building of member organisations\u2019 staff and board of management<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and Evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Assist\u00a0Member Organisations to adhere to statutory requirements-NPO Directorate, SARS, Treasury<\/li>\n<li>Advocacy and lobbying on children\u2019s rights, child care and protection<\/li>\n<li>Direct supervision of social workers of Member Organisations that do not have supervisors<\/li>\n<li>Consultation services to larger Child Welfare Organisations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>B.A.(Social Work)<\/li>\n<li>Current registration with the Council for Social Services Professions<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of five\u00a0years\u2019 experience as a social worker supervisor, preferable within Child Welfare<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three years\u2019 experience as a social work at child welfare<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the Children\u2019s Act 38 of 2005 and other legislations related to child protection; good experience in interpreting and implementing the said Chid\u2019s Act<\/li>\n<li>Report writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel and must have own car<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please send CV to <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/nmkzn@childwelfaresa.org.za\/\">nmkzn@childwelfaresa.org.za<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: Friday, 19 July, 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Child Welfare South Africa, a Not for Profit Organisation, was established in 1924 and is one of South Africa\u2019s oldest and largest charities.
