\/>\n<strong>Location:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>MP Province: Ehlanzeni District (17)<br \/>\nFree State Province: Thabo Mofutsanyane (5)<br \/>\nMP Gert Sibande District (7)<br \/>\nKZN Province: UGU District (4)<br \/>\nMP Nkangala District (4)<br \/>\nKZN Province: King Cetshwayo District (4)<\/p>\n<p>The primary purpose of this position is to provide testing and counselling services and become an integral part of the broader comprehensive care and treatment program in a non-Clinical site and\/or community that links the community into care.<\/p>\n<p><strong>THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Implement Targeted Community HIV Testing Services<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>HIV pre-test, post-test counselling<\/li>\n<li>Adherence counselling<\/li>\n<li>Conduct Index Testing and Mobile testing<\/li>\n<li>Give health education on health-related issues<\/li>\n<li>Give support to both infected and affected clients<\/li>\n<li>Provide education on HIV, TB and STIs prevention strategies<\/li>\n<li>Participate in organizing HIVAIDS awareness events<\/li>\n<li>Promote HIV counselling, testing and condom use<\/li>\n<li>Conduct screening for TB and STIs<\/li>\n<li>Collect data<\/li>\n<li><strong>Implement Active Referral and Linkage to Care<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Refer and link all new HIV, TB, STI cases<\/li>\n<li>Link HIV negative patients to preventative service providers<\/li>\n<li>Trace defaulters and link them back to the mainstream<\/li>\n<li>Collect data<\/li>\n<li><strong>Implement Adherence Support<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Introduce a risk reduction plan for clients in the post-test counselling and the adherence support<\/li>\n<li><strong>QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE (Minimum requirements)<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Matric \/ Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Accredited training certificates: Basic HIV information course, Intensive Counselling course and Adherence Counselling course and the ability to Counsel using the ACTS method<\/li>\n<li>Finger prick certificate<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate in English and one or more South African language(s) commonly spoken in the Sub-District<\/li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of HIV\/AIDS and TB &amp; Supporting people living with HIV<\/li>\n<li>Involvement in some aspect of community work will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Valid EB Driver\u2019s License with clean driving record and no traffic violations<\/li>\n<li>Clear criminal record<\/li>\n<li><strong>Minimum one to two years\u2019 experience in<\/strong>:<\/li>\n<li>HIV Counselling, Finger pricking and intensive adherence counselling<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
