We are creating a movement that transforms the lives of young people across the Nation.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"rtecenter\"><strong>Job Title: Two South Africa Regional Directors<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"rtecenter\"><b>Location: <\/b> Cape Town and\u00a0 Gauteng<\/p>\n<p>SU is needing to find outstanding key senior Christian leaders who are excellently qualified and have<br \/>\na calling to ministry with young people. The ministry impact of the two regional operations<br \/>\n(Cape Town and Gauteng) is critical as they are two of SU\u2019s key strategic centres.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Setting spiritual climate for the Region;<\/li>\n<li>Setting up and implementing contextual ministry plan;<\/li>\n<li>Networking and maintaining active church partnerships;<\/li>\n<li>Recruiting and managing optimal staff teams;<\/li>\n<li>Fundraising;<\/li>\n<li>Staff development;<\/li>\n<li>Budgeting and overseeing financial processes;<\/li>\n<li>Set regional marketing plan in coordination with the overall organisation goals;<\/li>\n<li>Promoting SU Resources\/ training to empower churches;<\/li>\n<li>Volunteer development and oversight.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ideal qualifications, knowledge and experience are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree, ideally with Honours;<\/li>\n<li>Theological training;<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license and own transportation;<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 3 years\u2019 management experience;<\/li>\n<li>Sound understanding of SU\u2019s ethos and contextual South African realities;<\/li>\n<li>Committed Christian with active church involvement;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in the NGO\/NPO sector will be a significant advantage, ideally in a Christian ministry environment and with youth ministry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent administrative skills<\/li>\n<li>Strategic and operational skills<\/li>\n<li>Project management experience would be helpful<\/li>\n<li>Great communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Excellent MS Office skills<\/li>\n<li>Strategic and operational planning skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please send a CV (no more than two pages) and a covering letter to SU General Director (Tim Black) on<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:jointheteam@su.org.za\">jointheteam@su.org.za<\/a>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Your CV should include your personal contact details, education, qualifications, at least three references with contact numbers and a recent photo of yourself.
