{"id":48342,"date":"2019-07-25T17:15:26","date_gmt":"2019-07-25T15:15:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=48342"},"modified":"2019-07-25T17:18:01","modified_gmt":"2019-07-25T15:18:01","slug":"the-international-organization-for-migration-iom-recent-job-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/the-international-organization-for-migration-iom-recent-job-vacancy.html","title":{"rendered":"The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Recent Job Vacancy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is a dynamic and growing inter-governmental organization, with 151 member states, committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits migrants and society.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong> <strong>Receptionist Administrative\/Clerk<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Pretoria<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports to:<\/strong> Chief of Mission and general guidance of the Resource Management Officer and direct supervision of the Senior HR\/Admin Assistant.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Estimated Start Date:\u00a0<\/strong>As soon as possible<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Answer all incoming calls as required, with professionalism and correct etiquette, ensuring messages are passed on timely and with accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Together with the security guards, screening of visitors before they enter into the premises to ensure maximum precaution is taken for the protection of staff and premises. Confirming appointments with relevant staff members, making sure that all visitors are wearing and IOM Visitors Card.<\/li>\n<li>Welcome visitors and respond to their enquiries and refer them to the correct department if necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Organize and assist with preparation of conferences and meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Everyday administration duties, printing of staff telephone bills, control of related accounts, filing of necessary faxes and documents and updating of all contact lists.<\/li>\n<li>Control of IOM Library, documents, IOM brochures and related documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Receive and direct migrant applicants appropriately.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and provide non confidential technical information to migrants in order to assist and enable effective service to applicants.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate verbally and in writing between applicants\/enquirers and relevant staff.
