This is done in partnership with communities, municipalities, provincial and national government.<\/p>\n<p>We work in an integrated team of community participation, socio economic development, operation and maintenance, planning and design, infrastructure development, and knowledge management towards sustainable urban neighbourhoods.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Finance\/HR Administrator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Cape Town<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this dual role entails providing administrative assistance in both finance and HR to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and HR administrative operations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remunaration:<\/strong> R15 000 per month (Cost to Company) depending on experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Finance:<\/li>\n<li>Processing and monitoring of payments<\/li>\n<li>Invoice reconciliation<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of documentation for VAT submission<\/li>\n<li>Checking supporting documentation of payment requests against procurement<\/li>\n<li>Submission of Proof of Payments against requisitions<\/li>\n<li>Invoicing tenants once a month against given schedule<\/li>\n<li>Invoicing pre-booked tenants upon request from external VPUU offices<\/li>\n<li>Assisting with preparation and coordination of regular audits<\/li>\n<li>HR<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that human resource files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Update staff attendance spreadsheet<\/li>\n<li>Capturing Timesheets<\/li>\n<li>Ensure job descriptions are issued, signed and filed<\/li>\n<li>Issue probationary evaluation documents<\/li>\n<li>Support the Recruitment and Selection processes<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate Training and Development requests<\/li>\n<li>Record all the trainings in the HR data base<\/li>\n<li>Ensure job descriptions are issued, signed and filed<\/li>\n<li>Collect and submit payroll information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma or equivalent in Management, Bookkeeping, Accounting, Finance<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of three years working experience as a finance\/HR administrator<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of legislation governing HR practices and processes (BCEA\/LRA)<\/li>\n<li>Computer literate with knowledge of VIP and QuickBooks essential<\/li>\n<li>Effective Communication &#8211; Verbal and written<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s license is essential<\/li>\n<li>Planning, organisation and administration skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to maintain confidential information<\/li>\n<li>Meticulous attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently<\/li>\n<li>Ability to draft and distribute professional correspondence<\/li>\n<li>Working independently as well as in a team environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please forward a CV and a covering letter, including certified copies of your ID and relevant qualifications to: VPUU, PO Box 2373 Cape Town 8000 or Email:\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:apply@vpuu.org.za\">apply@vpuu.org.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>VPUU NPC is a Public Benefit Organisation implementing multisectoral integrated area based upgrading programmes of neighbourhoods in townships and informal settlements.
