We support a portfolio of entrepreneurs located in different parts of the country through our virtual services programme.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Finance and Talent Officer<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Cape Town<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the\u00a0Finance and Talent Officer is to ensure the implementation of strong Financial, Human Resources, Industrial Relations and Governance Systems for SAREBI and all its clients under management.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports to:<\/strong> General Manager and serving as a member of the Management Team<br \/>\n<strong>Salary Range:<\/strong> CTC R300K to R360K P.A<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>General Duties<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for full accounting function for Sarebi and all clients under management.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the operations of the accounting department.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare annual Budget and Cash Flow Projections.<\/li>\n<li>Develop an effective asset and inventory management system and controls.<\/li>\n<li>Implement sound procurement systems that adheres to the PFMA and MFMA requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Manage annual audits for Sarebi and its clients.<\/li>\n<li>Formulate and enforce policies and procedures regarding company\u2019s cash disbursements.<\/li>\n<li>Review and strengthen financial and accounting internal controls to ensure protection of the company\u2019s financial resources.<\/li>\n<li>Hire and train accounting staff.<\/li>\n<li>Key Performance Areas<\/li>\n<li>Financial Planning &amp; Management<\/li>\n<li>Compliance and Financial reporting<\/li>\n<li>Human Resource management &amp; Development;<\/li>\n<li>Management of Assets<\/li>\n<li>Facilitation of audits<\/li>\n<li>Formulation of policies and procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Employee and Job Ergonomics requirements<\/li>\n<li>Relevant Degree\/Diploma in Accounting \/ Financial Management<\/li>\n<li>Strong Pastel \/ Sage One and other financial \/ data analysis Software skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to develop automated templates in MS office and Google products.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the SMME and non-profit company environment;<\/li>\n<li>Excellent command of English;<\/li>\n<li>Clean un-endorsed driver\u2019s license as periodic site and client visits are required.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and Key Skills<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of General Ledger to Trial Balance including month end journals.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Budget Planning, Financial Management and Accounting Principles and Practices;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Business and Management Principles and practices;<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of operating and capital budget concepts;<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of the Renewable Energy sector<\/li>\n<li>Previous Experience<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5-years (+) experience in financial accounting &amp; management<\/li>\n<li>Clean Tech Sector-specific Industry relevant experience would be an advantage;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in a small business environment or working with sme\u2019s advantageous;<\/li>\n<li>Experience in or working with Non Profit Companies or Social enterprises advantageous;<\/li>\n<li>Employee &amp; Job Behavioural Competencies<\/li>\n<li>Excellent planning and organisational skills<\/li>\n<li>Self-starter with supervisory, review, and proofing experience<\/li>\n<li>High degree of managerial, analytical &amp; numerate skills;<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multitask<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please submit your application, including a cover letter with salary expectation and contactable references, certified copies of your academic records and a complete CV on\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sarebi.co.za\/careers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">http:\/\/www.sarebi.co.za\/careers\/<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Monday, 5 August, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SAREBI supports viable small enterprises in the Clean Tech and Clean Energy sector.
