This full-time position will be responsible for day to day HR Management function of a medium sized local affiliate of a large international NGO.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential knowledge and skills: (If you cannot answer \u201cYes\u201d to all the items below please do not apply)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent computer skills (Excel &amp; MS Word, PowerPoint)<\/li>\n<li>Ability to use technology to communicate with remote teams (Skype 4 Business preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of the Payroll cycle and hands on experience of completing payroll on Sage VIP<\/li>\n<li>Ability to compile statutory reports (UIF, WCA, SARS)<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of employee benefits<\/li>\n<li>Able to travel as required<\/li>\n<li>Experience working on HR administration systems software<\/li>\n<li>Detailed knowledge of labour (and other relevant) legislation, including Employment Equity annual submission \u00a0and developing an Employment Equity plan<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Employee health, safety, and wellness,<\/li>\n<li>Experience of the full recruitment cycle (Ad writing, CV analysis, Interview skills, management of recruitment correspondence)<\/li>\n<li>Experience in facilitation of HR training workshops and capacity building<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Deliverables:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compiling employment documentation for new hires<\/li>\n<li>Filing and capturing of employee information both hard copy and digital<\/li>\n<li>Loading employees in the HRIS system<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that time recording takes place accurately by each employee<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining of leave balances monthly<\/li>\n<li>Full preparation of monthly payroll<\/li>\n<li>Preparation of statutory payroll reports<\/li>\n<li>Support and guidance to line managers on organization policy\/procedures and legislation<\/li>\n<li>Support and participation in Employee forum<\/li>\n<li>Training of staff on HR and Operational policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Development of an employee wellness program<\/li>\n<li>General operational HR support<\/li>\n<li>Leading Employment Equity plan development<\/li>\n<li>Guiding employees in developing career planning and career pathing<\/li>\n<li>Leading employee wellness program development<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Skills and Qualifications required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The minimum qualification required for this position is a tertiary degree or diploma in Human\u00a0 Resources.\u00a0 In addition, candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.<\/li>\n<li>Training and practical experience on VIP Payroll<\/li>\n<li>Human Resource Information Systems experience is an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in English and able to converse in at least one other South African national language.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to deliver tangible outcomes<\/li>\n<li>Registered with a recognised HR governing body<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The position is based in the Cape Town Southern Suburbs. \u00a0Salary package will be commensurate with experience \u2013 please note that this is mid-level position within a limited budget and not a senior management level vacancy and salary will be capped according to market rates due to budget constraints.<\/p>\n<p>CSA is an affirmative action employer, Wherever possible, selection will favour previously disadvantaged individuals, provided they are in possession of the required skills, knowledge and experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please submit your abbreviated CV (no longer than 3 pages) with contact details of 3 referees,\u00a0to:<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:csa-jobs@conservation.org\">csa-jobs@conservation.org<\/a><\/strong>.
