One of its programmes, the Rainbow PSR Groups, offers community-based psychosocial rehabilitation and support to adults with psychiatric \/psychosocial disabilities in the form of 26 weekly support groups.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0<\/strong><strong>PSR Group Facilitator<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Job Type:<\/strong>\u00a0 15 hour per week group<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsiblities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Weekly PSR Groups in the community<\/li>\n<li>Plan groups and activities in accordance with the four life areas of PSR<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate weekly group sessions in the community<\/li>\n<li>Ensure group membership of between 7 and 10 members as well as regular attendance<\/li>\n<li>Outreach to members who do not attend regularly<\/li>\n<li>Follow up with Mental Health Nurse and other referral sources to facilitate referrals<\/li>\n<li>Administration<\/li>\n<li>Create an individual file for each member and ensure that the file is updated on an on-going basis<\/li>\n<li>Create a group file for each PSR group and ensure that weekly group reports are captured. Files are to be kept up to date at all times<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the monthly statistics for each group is submitted to the RF Manager on the first working day of the month.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preferably qualified as an Auxiliary Social Worker, Occupational Therapy Assistant\/ Technician or Community Rehabilitation Worker<\/li>\n<li>A valid code 8 manual driver\u2019s licence<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in English and Afrikaans \/ Xhosa.<\/li>\n<li>Work experience in the mental health field and group facilitation<\/li>\n<li>Basic computer literacy and administration skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work as part of a team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit a 2-page CV with 3 recent and contactable references to The Programme Manager:\u00a0 Rainbow PSR Groups <strong><a href=\"mailto:anna-beth@cmh.org.za\">anna-beth@cmh.org.za<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>or hand deliver to 22 Ivy Street, Observatory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline: <\/strong>Monday, 12 August, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cape Mental Health is a non-profit organisation that offers comprehensive and proactive mental health services in the Western Cape.
