KMA provides an opportunity for becoming a professional musician.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Fundraiser<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Hout Bay, Cape Town<br \/>\n<strong>Remuneration:<\/strong> Negotiable<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this position is to\u00a0implement an effective fundraising strategy to secure funding from a variety of sources for KMA through the implementation of various campaigns and activations.\u00a0Established NGO seeks experienced Fundraiser with proven track record of a minimum of R4 000 000 per annum.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports to:<\/strong>\u00a0The Executive Director<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fundraising<\/li>\n<li>Ongoing research into new revenue streams.<\/li>\n<li>Secure new funders locally, nationally and internationally.<\/li>\n<li>Develop funding proposals, applications and reports in line with donor requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a Client Relationship database.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the CRM and all records relating to donors are regularly updated.<\/li>\n<li>Establish long-term financial sustainability of the organization.<\/li>\n<li>Conceptualise project ideas, write project proposals and ensure their timely submission.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Director in shaping the business plans to generate innovative revenue streams.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure good public relations for all events &amp; campaigns.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with relevant media bodies and service for exposure.<\/li>\n<li>With the Director prepare Fundraising Reports for the Executive Board<\/li>\n<li>With the Director constantly improve and develop relevant communications material for the organization such as brochures, website, annual report, videos and posters.<\/li>\n<li>Relationship Building<\/li>\n<li>Together with the Director maintain and develop good relationships with funders through ongoing meaningful communication<\/li>\n<li>With the Director, prepare a newsletter for distribution at least every quarter<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Matric Certificate and a relevant fundraising\/sales experience\/qualification<\/li>\n<li>A proven track record in fundraising for NGO\u2019s<\/li>\n<li>Target driven and evidence of the ability to close deals<\/li>\n<li>A strong personal network<\/li>\n<li>Excellent writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Driver\u2019s license &amp; own vehicle<\/li>\n<li>Experience in CRM will be preferable<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently, under pressure and reach deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Strong planning and organising skills<\/li>\n<li>A team player with a heart for community<\/li>\n<li>Innovator and creative thinker<\/li>\n<li>Able to work in a noisy and very busy open plan office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you have what it takes to prove your successful fundraising and marketing skills, then we want to hear from you.
