NACOSA\u00a0promotes dialogue,\u00a0builds capacity\u00a0with accredited training, mentoring and technical assistance and\u00a0channels resources\u00a0to support service delivery on the ground, particularly among children and youth, key populations and women and girls.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Site Coordinators<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>Eastern Cape and Kwazulu-Natal region.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the Site Coordinator position is to support\u00a0the day-to-day operations of the various community development initiatives to be\u00a0based in the Eastern Cape or KwaZulu-Natal regions and\u00a0support a 3 year-grant.<\/p>\n<p>The Site Coordinator reports\u00a0to the Provincial Manager.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide operational assistance to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of a 3 year grant in the focus areas in the province<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and supervise the day-to-day activities of the site to ensure delivery on key performance areas<\/li>\n<li>Planning and coordinating resources, materials, transport etc. to ensure resources are available where needed<\/li>\n<li>Identify relevant project opportunities related to HIV\/AIDS programming relevant to HIV\/AIDS<\/li>\n<li>Administrative assistance such as collecting time sheets, contracts, record keeping as may be required from time to time<\/li>\n<li>Review progress of initiatives on implementation level in order to report on developments and provide advice on potential areas for improvements<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to budget financial accountability of site operations<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain strong working relationship with strategic partners<\/li>\n<li>Travel in rural settings regularly and overnight away from home<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in Social Science\/Public Health or related discipline<\/li>\n<li>Good computer and reporting skills<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 years\u2019 experience at supervisory or management level of a project, site or team in the NGO sector<\/li>\n<li>Practical experience working in the HIV\/AIDS field within the NGO sector<\/li>\n<li>Read, write, and speak in two official South African languages, of which one must be English.<\/li>\n<li>In procession of a valid driver\u2019s license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required skills and experience\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leadership skills couple with ability to maintain good interpersonal relations<\/li>\n<li>Ability to drive, implement and demonstrated ability to manage a project<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to work as a team member with multidisciplinary teams<\/li>\n<li>Ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail, and prioritise to meet deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work under pressure<\/li>\n<li>Commitment to the goals of the project and willing to go the extra mile to ensure success<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate sensitivity, respect, honesty and fairness in interactions<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please visit the link to our job board at <a href=\"https:\/\/nacosa.jb.skillsmapafrica.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">https:\/\/nacosa.jb.skillsmapafrica.com\/<\/a>\u00a0to view all our vacancies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Saturday, 31 August, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NACOSA is a\u00a0network\u00a0of over 1,800 civil society organisations working together to turn the tide on HIV, AIDS and TB in Southern Africa.
