Coordinator (Special Initiatives)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Location: <\/strong>ACFS Head Offices, Gauteng.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remuneration:\u00a0<\/strong> Junior Management level as per ACFS&#8217;s remuneration Policy Framework<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of this position is to\u00a0coordinate the delivery of ACFS&#8217;s special child development initiatives across all\u00a0ACFS centres.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports\u00a0to:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Programmes Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Workload ratio:\u00a0<\/strong> 80% field and 20% Head Office<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reqiurement:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 year coordination experience within the NGO and or Community development Sector<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Programmes Operations Management (Sixty %)<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the day to day work of the project initiatives in ACFS operational areas<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate all partner and or sevice organisations<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the timely implementation of all target activities<\/li>\n<li>Take responsibility for the compiling of all reports<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and evaluation activities<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating Campaigns and Advocacy outreach work for ACFS<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate all donor and stakeholder activities at field level<\/li>\n<li>Produce timely reporting<\/li>\n<li>Support the development of child rights and education programme<\/li>\n<li>Support standardisation of all ACFS centres<\/li>\n<li>Feed project information into strategic planning processes as well as proposal development initiatives<\/li>\n<li>Weekly meetings with Programme Manager<\/li>\n<li>Timely monitoring of progress against implementation plas and corrective action taken as necessary and as timeously as possible<\/li>\n<li>Project Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting (Thirty %)<\/li>\n<li>Ensure M+E tools are timeously completed and collated for the programme managers<\/li>\n<li>M+E resources mapped out and provisioned for from the start<\/li>\n<li>Timely monitoring of returns to ensure accuracy and quality.<\/li>\n<li>Timely monitoring of progress against operation plans and corrective action taken as necessary<\/li>\n<li>Timely synthesis of data in line with reporting schedules<\/li>\n<li>Keep track of reporting deadlines and requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Reports to clearly indicate progress as well as deviations and work outstanding in relation to goals.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in Project research when required.<\/li>\n<li>Management and Administration (Ten %)<\/li>\n<li>Attending and preparing for project meetings<\/li>\n<li>Keeping records organized and intelligible<\/li>\n<li>Attend sector and donor meeting as directed from the Executive Director \/ Programme Manager from time to time.<\/li>\n<li>Behavioural Competencies<\/li>\n<li>Proactive communicator, able to build relationships and provide support across a range of work areas<\/li>\n<li>Strong cross-cultural awareness, able to work effectively with diverse working styles<\/li>\n<li>Can work both independently, and well with others<\/li>\n<li>Ability to troubleshoot as well as have a proactive approach to administration<\/li>\n<li>Ability to influence and generate a high degree of respect, trust and credibility.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to drive is essential<\/li>\n<li>Teenage Girl programme<\/li>\n<li>Toy Libraries Interventions<\/li>\n<li>Youth Skills development<\/li>\n<li>Youth Exchange and Explorations<\/li>\n<li>Any other special interventions as they may come online<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Project Stream:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Programme Coordination.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Discipline:\u00a0<\/strong> Community and \/ or Child Development, Social Work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Submit your CV\u00a0 by e-mail to <strong><a href=\"mailto:infor@ACFS.org.za\">infor@ACFS.org.za<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Deadline:\u00a0<\/strong>Friday, 16 August, 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>African Children Feeding Scheme (ACFS) is a nonprofit organisation (NPO) that promotes and supports inclusive education practices in schools and preschools throughout the country.
